CHAPTER 5
"I effortlessly pull my hair into a messy bun."
There is so much wrong with that sentence. Like you have no freaking idea.
I'm in the middle of class and as much as I'd love to say "I effortlessly pull my hair into a messy bun" I can't. Because the harsh reality is...
I tried (with a whole lot of effort, may I add) to pull my hair into a messy bun. But obviously the gods of hair detest me. Here's what actually went down:
1. As I was pulling my hair through the elastic, I snapped the last elastic I had.
2. I then tried to hold it in with a pencil like you see all the huge beauty gurus do on YouTube. BIG MISTAKE
3. I ended up breaking two pencils.
4. My hair ended up knotty
5. I stabbed my wrist
6. And three people ended up in the nurses office after a "flying pencil hit them in the nose, mouth or ear"
Ugh.

"Hello to my favorite bitch on the planet."
"Hey Ki."
"Why you sounding so deflated chica?"
"Stop trying to be Spanish Ki."
She grabs me by the arm and steers me into the bathroom.
"What happened?"
"I may or may not have tried to put my hair into a messy bun..." At these words Kiara face palms.
"Why the hell would you try that? I thought we've established that you have no coordination and extremely unreliable hair ties!!!" She says.
"I know."
"How many people landed in the nurses office this time?" She says with a deflated sigh.
"Not including me?"
"Mmhmm"
"Three"
She sighs.
See everyone. Now this is why I don't try to tame my mane.
