Heir Prince Felix Andry

Iron City, Sarkin

I continued to hug my brother for several minutes. No other words were said. There was a sense of relief. I had wondered if he would be angry in my coming home, but he wasn't. I pulled back, looking at my brother to see his eyes were watering slightly. "I always knew you would come back. You would find your way back."

"Felix..." I heard a voice behind Jasper, and we both looked back into the Great Hall.

A woman stood there with dark hair and dark eyes and I knew instantly who it was. "Mickaela." I laughed and walked over and hugged her. She seemed more shocked and reserved, but smiled. "I had heard you managed to nab my brother, though I called it all along." She laughed, and looked at Jasper with a smile, but the smile fell away after a few seconds. Something was up between them. Had I come in during a fight?

"I will go get the boys. I am sure they would like to meet their uncle." She offered and I smiled with a nod. I most definitely wanted to meet them. She excused herself and left the hall, shutting the doors behind her, leaving us in the hall.

I saw him glance down at Jaymie. "Friend of yours?" He asked.

I nodded. "This is my daughter, Jaymie."

He stared between us in shock. "Your daughter?"

Again I nodded. "There is much to tell you all, but I would rather not do so when she is here to listen." I said, looking down at Jaymie. I knelt down to her. "Jaymie, can you say hello to your Uncle Jasper?"

Jaymie nodded, and turned to where she suspected he was. Jasper knelt down to her, looking her over. He started to notice that Jaymie couldn't see him. He glanced up at me and I nodded.

"Hello Uncle Jasper." She said quietly. ""Father has told me so much about you."

"Hello Jaymie. I look forward to getting to know you." Jasper smiled, and then hugged her.

The door opened and Mickaela appeared, with two boys walking beside her, holding hands. I already knew they were around three years of age, though they were tall and well dressed for boys. Jasper and I were never well dressed. We tore more clothes that anyone could imagine. They both had brown hair but their eyes were unique. One blue and one brown. One boy had a blue left eye while the other had a right blue eye. "This is Alfred. Alfie." She pointed to the left blue eyed one, and then to the other. "And Ederick. Eddie."

I knelt down to them, smiling. "Hello boys." I could tell they had their father's ornery spirit, but that their mother's stern tutoring kept it deep inside. They smiled back at me. I stood back up and looked back at Jasper. "I can't believe you have children."

He laughed. "I can't believe you have a daughter." He returned.

"A daughter?" Mickaela asked, looking at Jaymie. "Poor little dear." She then looked at me. "Would you like me to take her upstairs and get her a bath or maybe some food?"

I nodded. "That would be wonderful." I knelt down to Jaymie. "I need you to go with your Aunt Mickaela now, Jaymie."

"Are you coming too, Pa-pa?" She asked, and I could tell she was nervous.

"I am going to stay here, Jaymie, but as soon as you are done, you can return to me and we will go do something really fun." I kissed her forehead. "Do not be frightened, little one." I said more quietly, just to her. "I will always be close. Nothing will come harm you. I promise." She nodded, and then I watched as she took Mickaela's hand and the four of them walked out of the room, leaving me alone with Jasper again.
