Marceline pov.
Today was just a peaceful day at my old home, Earth, 13-year-old me and 15-year-old Gaelio were having a peaceful stroll around the forest, talking about random things that had to do about or even not about us. Until I got a message from my best friend Airy that there is an audition being held for the 80 generations of AKB0048 in two years.
"Gaelio look at this, they're finally doing the audition on Earth, can't you believe it!" I said in excitement to him.
"Y-yeah, that's good news," He said a bit nervous.
"Oh I just can't wait, the girls and I are sooo going to get in, and I'm going to become a center nova since we now know what happened to the previous Center Novas from the different galaxy," I said while skipping around humming Aitakatta.
"Yeah I-I hope you and your friends win this for Earth and Mars," Gaelio said with a bit of sadness and happiness mixed together.
I noticed the sadness in his voice, so I stopped skipping then gave him a big yet soft bear hug before I spoke, "Gaelio it will be ok, and besides if I do get accepted, I promise you that I will send you many letters and souvenirs to make sure that you will smile and never forget all of the fun memories we had. And besides, I have to find a way to get past my new family to do the practice and to get on one of the space transports that leads to the ship that will take us to the home planet where AKB lives. But that probably won't happen since my stepbrother is totally against it, even though he would love to see me leave his life once and for all." I said breaking the hug and now staring at each other.
"Marceline, please don't tell yourself that. He loves you like you were his own flesh and blood, and besides, he would probably be very excited to see his little sister as a pop star than some normal kid." He said to me while giving me another huge.
"And besides, I bet that Almiria would be pleased to hear that you're trying out~," He said to me in a teasing matter.
"Wha- you wouldn't dare tell her," I said breaking the hug again, now standing in an attack position.
"Like you would care if I did, and besides, it would be a really well-planned pay back from the time that you two play that awful trick on me~," He teased again with his tongue sticking out.
"GAELIO BAUDUIN IF YOU EVEN DARE TELL HER BEFORE I DO, I WILL END YOUR ASS YOU GOT THAT!" I yelled chasing after him with my fist in the air.
"You will have to catch me first!" He yelled back running away from me.
