1-Black and White*

"Okay so I'm making coffee and you can just sit on the arm of this chair." I told Mitch, pointing to the chair by the window.

There was a curtain hanging on one side, specifically for the photo. Mitch silently walked over and sat where I told him to.

"Okay so this is for the black and white photo, I want it to seem like you're enjoying an afternoon coffee, the setting sun shining in from the window and you mindlessly watching as the beverage steams in your hand." I said, glancing over at Mitch from where I was fidling with my camera.

"Woah." He breathed, "okay."

I went and grabbed the coffee. I picked a white cup, wanting it to contrast with Mitch's dark sweater.

"Okay so just sit and look out the window." I told him as I adjusted the camera.

I took a few shots. One was of him looking down at the cup in his hands, seeming deep in thought.

"These are gonna turn out great!" I smiled, "I already feel it."
