Riley's POV

"Ok dad we called everybody and they all can come "

"Good, Maya your mother can come too"

"Thanks Mr Matthews "

"Oh and Corey don't forget to call Josh as well"

"Uncle boiing"

"Maya u still like my uncle Josh but I thought you like Lucas"

"Riley I do like Lucas but I feel like I never got the right closure with josh and plus I haven't seen him in a while since he started school"

"Ok ,dad when are we leaving exactly"

"Mhhm Friday"

"OK Good Night dad"

"Good Night Mr and Mrs Matthews"

"Good night girls"

(NEXT MORNING)
(MAYA'S THOUGHTS)

When I woke from my sleep Riley was already up sitting at our bay window.

"Riley what's wrong"

"Maya I've hear of this ski lodge this is where my dad and mom almost broke up because of a girl"

"Riley its ok"

"No maya its not if you really think about it its kinda like what's going on in our situation"

"Even on a vacation Matthews is still trying to teach us something we should have just left him in middle school"I say laughing

"Maya I'm serious what if something happens between us and it changes everything."

Riley thinks to much something I hardly do, but what if she's right what if Lucas chooses one of us there and it changes our lives.

I try to get her mind off of the subject

"Riley calm down honey nothing's going to happen just calm down were going to have a nice little vacation with our friends ok that's all that's it alright"
