Joshua POV

When I got to the ski lodge all I wanted to see was Maya.

I know I said she's too young for me but I've missed her childish antics and playful ways

When I saw her she looked at me with those big blue eyes. I had to stop myself from saying something stupid so I just said "Hi ..you look good".

Good,good get yourself together josh.

"Thanks. You too" she says

I couldn't help but stare into to those blue orbs

I've heard while I was away she developed feeling for Lucas
That's weird. Doesn't Riley like him.

But while I'm here I plan on getting closure with Maya once and for all. I plan to tell her your to young for me and we are just friends. Yeah that's it.

"So how is school treating you?" Maya says trying to make conversation

"Is been good my friends asked about you and Riley" I say

" oh really tell them I say hi" she says

"Well do" I say

"So I've heard you like Mr baseball over there" I just right fit the attack

" Yea he's a nice dude" she's says which make my stomach flip

"OK cool so your over your little crush you had on me" I say

She turned red like a beet

Maya POV

When he asked that died inside

"Still have on you,I still like you josh." I say

"But don't you..."

"Its complicated and weird and let's not talk about it ok" I say

"Ok .....so how's highschool"

"Horribly awful "

"Oh really "

"Yes" I say laughing

And from that moment I knew we had a lot to talk about

I was kinda mad Lucas got jealous over riley and not me but now it makes this decision much easier....

I'm starting not to like Lucas anymore in that way but let's keep that to ourselfs shall we
