I sighed quietly to myself as my closest friend Gianna rambled on and on about the party last weekend. I vaguely remember. Her full blonde curls bounced behind her as her hands came together in a clap as she erupted with laughter. I giggled along quietly as we made our way down the street stepping into the music shack.

Gianna wandered off into the rap section as I made my way to the alternative and soft rock. My fingers tapped over the plastic cases of albums from Arctic Monkeys and the Neighbourhood. I furrowed my brow in disappointment from not finding anything new. My feet took me over to the house section. I trotted down the rock and metal section to reach the house isle. My eyes landed on two black sneakers, trailed up legs clad in tight dark denim, and a chest straining against a black tee.

His skin was tan, with chocolate brown hair. He had the most captivating eyes.

"Are you done staring at me?" he snapped.

I felt the heat rise in my cheeks. I looked down at my feet and scurried away to find Gianna. No matter how attractive he was I wanted to leave. I felt too uncomfortable in his presence.

My blue eyes spotted the blonde mane of hair and I jogged over to her.

"Can we leave?"

"Uh yeah I guess, let me just pay for this." she smiled softly.

I nodded thankful she didn't ask why as I exited the store that seemed to get a few degrees higher. We stepped back into the brisk October air and I inhaled. I looked back at the store to see if he was standing outside, but he wasnt. Why was he so rude? I didnt mean to stare but he was attractive.

"Why were you in such a rush? I didnt get to see the other side of the store." Gianna chuckled to me.

I looked back at her and shrugged. I felt embarassed saying 'Oh there was a hot guy who snapped at me and I was too shy to say anything back.' She nodded and continued walking. Luckily our dorms were just a few blocks down. As soon as our door came into sight I ran inside feeling the warmth wrap around my shivering body.

I plopped down onto my bed. Pulling the blanket up to my chin and snuggled into the heap of pillows. Gianna called up her boyfriend Mike and rambled on and on with the mushy shit and continuous 'I love you's.' Ive never loved someone like Gianna loved him. It was all so mind boggoling to love someone for months at a time being so far from one another. But they handle it very well.

She placed her phone on her charger and sprung off the matress. She waddled over to the closet and pulled it open. Yanking out jeans and a sweater. Along with a pair of my jeans and my sweater.

"What are you doing?" I asked her, getting up and walking over to her.

"We are going to a party tonight, so I picked out an outfit for you." she smiled widely at me.

"Gianna I dont know..."

She rolled her eyes playfully and placed her hands on her full hips.

"When was the leat time you went to a party, and got drunk, or kissed someone?" she paused and chuckled. "When was the last time you actually had fun?"

I took in her words. When was the last time you actually had fun? I havent been to a party since Junior year in high school, but that was a mess. It was fun, but a mess. Way too much drama. I sat down on her bed and stared up at her. She looked down at me waiting for an answer.

"I mean, I guess Ill go, but in not doing anything crazy. And neither are you, we have classes tomorrow and Im not dealing with your hangover." I chuckle.

She smiled widley and threw the attire at me. I slipped it on and I was quite impressed on how I looked. The burgandy sweater complimented my dark hair and bright eyes. I looked over at Gianna, her blonde hair was tamed down with gel and hairspray leaving it in tight messy curls, he hazel eyes were lined with black and shimmered.

"You look hot Gi!" I laughed and playfully slapped her arm.

She rolled her eyes and I stepped into the bathroom. I ran the straighter over my long locks and applied a little more makeup than usual. I felt, older. Stepping out of the bathroom Giannas eyes dart to me and her jaw falls open.

"Wow Sky." she said. "You look so nice! Different, but nice." she complimented me.

I thanked her and nodded. I liked the way I looked. How these certain pair of jeans hugged my waist, and how the sweater was higher in the front revealing a bit of my pale skin. My white vans pulled everything together.

We stepped out of the dorm and proceeded to the car.

"Where is this party anyway?" I questioned.

"The frat house, Johnny invited us." she said excitedly.

"Oh."

She smiled as we made our way to the house. It was huge. Tonight will be a long night.
