The Duet Competition

The Next Step has been having fun with Ella (Exchange Student from England).  Noah and Richelle have been practising their duet so much, now it's time for the actual competition.  Wish Them Luck!

Richelle's P.O.V:

I'm not nervous, wanna know why? it's because I have been performing in front of people for as long as I can remember, I mean I don't get that nervous before a performance there are times when I get a little bit nervous at a massive competition but I don't let it show, I just use it to make me dance harder and better.  

I look over at Noah and see that he is smiling so I look away from him, for our duet since it was an emotional one we decided to dress in like soft emotions colours and clothes to add more depth to the duet and put more amazing stuff in it.  Noah was just wearing a simple long sleeved shirt that was rolled up slightly, with black pants and white converse but I was wearing something a bit more fashionable and pretty.

I love this outfit, it's pretty, and brings out my body features, but yet I'm still able to dance and move around in it.  It's just amazing.   I look back at Noah and see that he is staring at me when he sees that I'm looking back at him, instead of looking away he just smirks slightly and winks at me before looking away.  

I feel myself blush slightly and feel butterflies in my stomach softly, my heart skips a beat, and I smile an even bigger smile than I was before.  Noah walks over to me, and puts his arm around my shoulders and pulls me closer to him, kissing the top my head.

"Can The Next Step duet dancers please take to the stage," I hear over the P.A system.

Noah and Walk onto the stage, 

"Now please give a round of applause for Noah and Richelle from The Next Step.

Noah's P.O.V:

Richi and I walk onto the stage and get ready to perform our duet to the crowd of around about 1,500 people give or take a few people.  I look at Richi and see that she is still smiling, and I know that I'm still smiling.  Suddenly our duet song "Inside Out" starts playing and we perform our duet perfectly, we are hitting all of the moves and lifts perfectly.  I feel my energy pick up and I can feel that the same thing is happening to Richi.

We finish our duet with me hugging her, and after a few seconds, we walk off the stage and see that a few our friends from TNS are here backstage cheering for us, hugging us and telling us that we did an amazing job with it.  I put my arms around Richi waist, pick her up and start spinning her around for a few seconds before putting her back down and kissing her quickly.

I see my 2 little brothers run over to me with our mum walking behind them, 

"Woohoo Go Big Bro!" Shouts my youngest brother Angus.

"Great Job, Noah mate," My 2 years younger brother Tyler says to me while shaking my hand and Richelle's quickly afterwards

Mum just hugs me and Richelle. 

"Richelle!" I hear an angry voice yell from behind all of us.  I turn around and see that it was Richelle's mum, and her dad was following her as well.  I stay standing next to Richelle, just make sure that I can protect her from any harm that may come her way.

"Richelle, we told you years ago that you should quit dance and focus on something that you're actually good at and that will help other people around you, but do you listen to us, No.  You just go be the useless selfish bitch you are and don't take your father and I's advice," Richelle's mum says to her, at this point I'm so angry that I'm surprised that I'm not yelling, punching and swearing.  But I know that I have to keep my cool because it's not going to help anyone if I lose it.

"That's It Richelle," Her dad yells at her.

"You can't live with us anymore, we're deeply ashamed to have you as our only daughter," Her dad quickly adds on to that.....................
