Yesterday was just amazeballs!!!!! Tunde made me feel so special...i have never felt that way before. Is that what love feels like? so maybe not love...a strong liking? (very very strong i must add) I so cannot wait to see him again. After he left i conference called Suzan and Sarah...and you can only imagine their reactions. It went something like 'squeal!!!!!! talk talk talk...shout!!!! talk...squeal again' I didn't sleep till 1am this morning cos of them. But it felt so good to tell them all.
I look at the time and its almost 11am and i have to be at the mall by 12:30. man i have to hurry now. Luckily for me we already picked out my outfit for the day...did i mention how i love my chickas? well i do. We settled on me looking a little girly today, in a short sundress (shorter than i would normally wear), cute sandals and a small bag for my phones and ATM. I wanted to take a jacket just in case i get a little chilly, but the girls had this brilliant idea that if i get chilly without a jacket and tell Tunde then he would have to wrap his hands around me to keep me warm...thanks to the adjustable armrest in the cinema hall! eeeeeeepppp!!!! I so cannot wait.
Caro comes in with my breakfast, which is plantain and egg sauce (yum!). "good morning Caro, how was your night?" "my night fine aunty Gbemi. your own?" "mine was good too. and please stop calling me aunty ehn! is my mum home?" "ehen...ok ma" (sigh) "ehn madam come house yesterday late late. she dey inside her room"* Finally my mum decides to show up. i'll just see her before i go out. "ok Caro, thank you." "ok ma". I look at the time and its 11:15, time to hurry. i rushed my shower and breakfast so i can take my time with the little make up i can do (eye roll...very little) and i'm done with all by 12:50.
I walk into my mum's room to find her on the bed eating her breakfast and working on her laptop. She never ever rests *sigh. "good morning mum. I heard you came in really late. Did you get any sleep at all?" "morning Gbemi. of course i did. I just always have so much to do you know." looking up at me finally, she says "you look nice. where are you going?" "I'm going to see a movie and chill with my new friends from school" I say smiling. "new friends huh? thats so good. you see i told you you will like it here. So do you need anything? money or what?" "no ma, i have enough in my account already. I just wanted to see you. i haven't seen you at all this week mum. I miss talking to you and all the fun we used to have you know? its been too long since we did anything together." "i know, its just work you know, so much to do. i will make it up to you i promise." and by now shes already focused on her work, no time for me again, and i know all she will do is send more money into my account. "ok then, bye mum" "bye dear, have fun" she says that absentmindedly and i just walk out. I just need to have fun with my friends today, especially Tunde. i so wish Sarah was here too.

Tunde's POV
I'm already at the mall waiting for her, i remember she loves ice cream especially ColdStone's and i decide thats how we will start our 'date'. Its 12:30 and i already sent her a message to let her know where i am. And then she walks in looking amazing...her dress, her face, her legs...and her dress is armless and she has no jacket on. Please get cold so i can have an excuse to hold you. i wave at her so she can see me, she does and starts walking over to me with that big beautiful smile of hers. I think there is something wrong with me cos my chest feels funny. "hey you" she says. "hey you too" and i hug her tight, i so don't want to let her go but i have to cos we are in public. I let go and look at her again, why didn't i just kiss her yesterday? i wanted to so bad...i was just forming gentleman there. *hiss* If that opportunity comes up again today omo i won't dull it at all. "you look lovely Gbemi" "thank you" she says with that shy smile of hers. "you look really nice too. not the regular uniform" "thanks" i almost put on a suit and tie cos of her i just had to reign it in and look casual before she will think i'm nuts. "So lets go get ice cream yeah?" "yeah, lets"
