Chapter 1

Danni's P.O.V

I'm so tired right now, its 6 am, and its the first day of school. For some reason I have been looking forward to it for a long time. This summer has blown mine, I was all over the place, and always getting in trouble. I really need stability in my life right now, that's why I'm looking forward to school. It's been a while since I have seen my best bud Star. We usually hang out all the time during the summer, but we were both busy trying to get off parole.

I hear a yell from the side of my house. From exhaustion I put more pillows on my head. Under the pillows I hear my mother yelling

"Danni get up! You're gonna be late to school!"

I had no desire to get up, but after hearing my mother's voice get closer to my room, I decided to just get up. After 20 minutes of getting ready I rush down stairs to my bag, then took a 20 dollar bill from my mom's purse. I leave my house in excitement to run into Star. Halfway down my street I hear someone yelling my name. I look behind and just see a car passing by. I gave another look and see Star in the someones car. I yell out,

"OH MY GOD, STAR WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?"

She runs out the car as we both run towards each other, we both embrace each other and laugh. "I missed you so much!" I yell at Star. "I missed you even more, sorry I have been away for awhile." She says, in agony. I just hugged her harder and gave her a smack on the ass. As we both laugh even harder, I notice as we walk towards the car, I see my ex Rider.

Right away I get negative vibes from being around him, we broke up over the summer. It was love at first sight, I met him over at a party. I was drinking a beer when i saw him fall from the top railing to the couch. He landed on my lap with his big silver eyes, and his smile was one of those smiles you see once in your life. I was mesmerized by his laugh too, he was just the one you wanted to kiss until the sun broke the night. In that moment i was so unsure what to do, but before I could do anything, Rider said,

"Hey beautiful, sorry for landing on you."

I had no clue what to even say, my face blushed redder than the roses in spring. I could tell he noticed because he had the cutest smirk on his face. That made me even more nervous, so I quickly got up, and ran out of the house. I heard him calling my name but I never looked back. In that moment, I knew I was going to meet him again and claim him as mine. Sadly things dont work out, and I learned that the hard way............
