It's seven am *yawn*. Today it's Ciudad Victoria to Ciudad Río Bravo, fifteen hours straight...and Larrana won't stop complaining. She says that we should rest some more, and that it's "taking a toll on her dreams." I told her we had to hurry before our parents alerted the police that we were missing, and María offered to pedal for her. For some reason the image of a five year old speeding on a bike down the road popped into my head and I've been uncontrollably giggly ever since.

WE MADE IT!!! My legs hurt like hell BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER BECAUSE GUESS WHAT WE FOUND?! So just outside Ciudad Río Grande there's miles of farmland, and we found an abandoned barn to stay in for the night. And in the very back, under this tarp, María found a safe. We dropped a really big rock on it and inside we found 56,000 PESOS! We freaked out. Larrana was concerned that someone had left it there and was coming back to it, but María and I were too busy pretending to be pirates discovering a treasure chest. It was the craziest, luckiest thing that had ever happened in my life, and if I was excited María was hysterical. She was running in circles and climbing up onto beams shouting "WE'RE RICH! WE'RE RICH!" Actually I need to help Larrana get her down from a windowsill...
    XOXO, Clara
