"Bye mom!" I said as I kissed her goodbye. "Take care and have a great day!" She yelled back.
It was my first day at my new school, Quakers,and I was nervous like hell.
I had to leave my best friend Lilly at my old school, we have been best friends for as long as I can remember.
So this is how we met: Our moms have been best friends since collage but when they both found there lovers they had to split up and after five years me and Lilly met in kindergarten, and we felt like there was a connection between us. So one day our moms saw each other while picking us up from class, and I think you know what happened next.
"Ready for your first day of school!" Dad said cheerfully. As he drove on the open road.
"Yup." I said and for a second there I doubted that.
"Hey, squirt, don't worry You'll do just fine, I'm sure." He said. He always called me squirt and I liked that.
"I'm just really stressed," I said, "I seriously don't wanna go, can I go tomorrow?" I asked although I already knew the answer but what the heck, why not give it a try? Dad bursted out laughing. "Come on!" He said. "I think you know the answer to that question."
"Dad I love you," I said, "You know that right?"
"Of course," He said, "I love you too."
We finally got there, I could see all the Sophomores Walking through the doors laughing and joking around, most of them looked like they were seventeen to eighteen years old, I am seventeen.
When I went out of the car I waved my dad goodbye and went through the school door. And as I walked through the doors I felt like there were butterflies in my stomach and I felt like I can't walk any more, but I eventually managed to walk.
