The good girl meets the bad boy

Chapter 9: The date.

He just stared at me from head to toe.
"Don't worry," he said. "I don't wanna be here and I certainly don't wanna see you."
I froze in place. I was so confused. But I had to reply. "Then why are you here?" I asked coldly.
As flashbacks of how he humiliated me in front of everyone and made fun of me came rushing to my mind. I just wanted to scream at him.
"Taylor asked me to get you to him cause' his car stopped working while he was on his way here, and then he called me and yea..you know the rest." He said staring at the ground as if it's something so interesting.
"Come on, let's go princess." He said. I followed him silently to the car. He didn't even open the door for me! Ugh, what was I expecting anyways.

"Trust me if this "date" was not so important to him, I wouldn't have come to your house to pick you up."
I didn't say a word. I was too humiliated.
"Don't talk to me." Was all I said, "Just drive silently."
"Whatever you say, princess."
"And don't call me that."
"Princess." He teased.
After that I couldn't help my self but argue with him. how was he so calm and causal after what he did to me! He was seriously a heartless monster.
"How could you do something like that to a girl?" I asked in disgust. "You are truly the biggest monster I've ever seen."
He paused before answering. "I mess with whoever messes with me, girl or boy, doesn't matter." He said. "And you don't know me at all, so don't judge."

We finally got there, and I glanced at Ethan before going out, he looked like he was deep in thought. So I just went out without saying anything.
And as I went out a cold breeze came to my face. The restaurant was huge. I could see all the beautiful and colorful lights all around it. It looked amazing.
"You look beautiful." Someone said from behind me, I turned around and found Taylor staring at me.
"Thank you." I said while blushing.
As we were walking inside, I noticed that we were going towards a booth, just for us. We talked about many things like why we moved here and why his parents were divorced, it turns out it's because his dad cheated on on Taylor's mom, and he also said that his dad regretted it so badly and that he kept on begging her to forgive him but she didn't.

Ethan's POV

I dropped Alice off and went straight to home.
"Welcome home, Ethan." I heard my maid say.
I just gave her a smile and went to my room, but before I could open my door, mom called me. "Ethan?" She said, "When did you come?"
I kissed her on her head and said, "I just came now."
"Are you hungry, should I tell Lucy to put food for you?"
"No, I'm really tired. I just wanna sleep."
"Ok honey, but if you need anything you can call me, I'll be in my room."
And so, I threw myself on my bed and closed my eyes. And the first thing I thought of was Alice and her gorgeous eyes, and her beautiful dress. No. I opened my eyes quickly, I can't do this to Taylor I said to myself. The only way to forget her is to be mean to her I thought.
I have always been like this my whole life, I would always keep barriers between me and people, except for mom and Taylor, cause' if you show that your caring and nice, people would take advantage of the situation.
