One Among The Stars *ON HOLD*

Dear Dad,

You know the small, white Villa on Gosen Dr with the picket fence caving it in? Well, that's our house now. It's not my ideal dream home, but it will have to do.

I can't believe it's been a year since the accident happened. I was only 13. You were in the car driving to work and it all seemed to have happened from there. I don't like to talk about it though. Especially as all my friends see me as a 'Brave girl' and I just seem to live up to that expectation - nothing more, nothing less. Although, they don't see the pain inside of me that I'm fighting off. It's not serious but It's there.

I hope every night that life was all a dream, that I could just wake up and find my you there snuggling me in and keeping me warm. But for now, you're just one among the stars. The one I'm trying to catch.
