Dear Dad,
This morning I had to get up early to be at church on time. When you were around, we would always get to church 35 minutes before it starts but now without you, we only JUST get to church on time - probably 2 minutes before the service starts.
Anyway, I was leading kids church today. It was so much fun as it was my first time running the lesson. I wish you were there to see me. We could've been running the lessons together but I'm sure that among the stars, you are proud of what I'm doing.
After church today, I went to Sarahs house for dinner. I enjoy going to her house as they feel like a second family to me. Especially as Dave (her Dad) treats me like another daughter. But don't worry, you are still my ultimate Dad and no one could ever surpass or replace you.
For dinner, we had macaroni and cheese. I remember when you would always cook us that when Sarah came over and she wondered if you could cook anything else. Lol.
But I do miss your cooking skills. The flipping of the crepes and the chopping of the onions. I wish you were still here for me to make fun of your egg cracking fails and pouring sugar instead of salt and the other way round.
I really miss you and always will.
Love Kathryn (your daughter ) Xx
