She was a lonely girl. Kept quiet most of the time, so she had more then enough time alone. You know what they say people shouldn't be alone all the time. That gives your mind enough time to create and come up with crazy stories like smoking caterpillars and talking animals. Alice had no one but her father. She would always talk to him about her abstract thoughts and these characters that were "made up." He didn't think much of it, because every child's imagination runs wild. He allowed it and she loved it. Her mother wasn't too fond of it though, after years she thought she'd outgrow these visions but that didn't happen. Shortly after Alices' father passed away and that broke her heart. Her only friend in this boring world. The only one who understood her abstract mind or curiosity.

Months after his passing her mother believed that Alice was done with her imagination. Come to find out it had only gotten worse. Her mother would talk to friends about how easily distracted she was and she didn't know what to do. Whenever Alice would talk to her about her dreams and the people she'd see. She tried to ignore it and not think too much of it but it seemed like things were getting worse. As years went by the visions and dreams became more visual and a little to discriptive. She grew worried and decided to send her to a therapist for a while. Alice didn't know about this, so she decided to throw Alice a go away party and invited everyone.

As the party went about Alice didn't look interested in any of the activities. She felt like everything was so dull and boring and she wanted it to be over. As she danced around trying to pretend she enjoyed the party for her mother's sake. Hours of fake laughter and false smiles her mother stood on the potium and tapped her glass.

"Can I have everyone's attention please!" Stretching out her hands she had reached to Alice. "Alice my dear, as your mother I only want what's best for you. I did all of this for you."
Alice grabbed her hands and interrupted.
"What's the occasion?"
"I'm going to send you on a special vacation. You spend too much time alone."
"What kind of vacation?" Snatching her hands away from her mother she grew confused and angry.
"A special one for your own good Alice. These visions of yours need to be discussed and you're too old to still think that way. No child of mines will lead a deranged life. You need help Alice."
"Father would never send me away!"
& she stormed off into the rose garden of white roses. The yells of her mother grew faint but she didn't stop running. She ran and ran. She grew tired and ran to a big tree to rest. She made sure she was out of sight and cried herself to sleep.

She opened her eyes and walked towards the party. Her way back she was confused. Her path didn't look the same way it did when she first ran on it. Everything looked dingy and goth. She heard nothing but the travels of her own echos, nothing else. The roses were dead with a splatter of red. The big green bushes looked tainted and worn out, the skies looked smuggy as if it was about to rain.

"Mama?.... hello. ANYBODY!?"

No response. She finally made it back to the party and no one was there. She was all alone.

"Oh no," She said aloud, "I'm alone. They've forgotten about me. It's all my fault."

*silent weeps

"Why are you weeping?"
"Huh? Who said that?"
"Me.. haha!"
"I've gone mad. I'm all alone and now I'm hearing things."
"We all go a little mad sometimes my dear."

In the air a big creepy smile appeared followed by big green bulging eyes and slowly a face began to form. A cats face.

"Haha you can talk! & you smile. To top it off you float... I have lost..."
"Relax..."
"You know what.. this is a dream. Yeah just a stupid dream and I need to wake up."
"Hahahahaaa"
