Before I went home, I decided to head uptown and get some food. It was a Saturday afternoon and I thought that the square would be crowded. To my surprise, there was barely anyone there. I shrugged this off and head into O'Charlie's, the best restaurant in the town. It was very empty and only one sad man at the bar, whimpering. I order a burger and some fries. The waitress writes my order down and in five minutes my food arrives. I sit down in a booth and eat my lunch.
I walk out "forgetting" to pay like I always do. I always felt lucky not getting caught. This time was different. When I left I was greeted by the owner who looked very pissed. He told me that if I didn't cough up enough money for all the times that I ate there, my family would be sued. I said that I don't have that kind of money and that I didn't even care if he did. He looked over me, his face red with anger, his breath fowl of beer, and his fist balled up ready to knock me out with one punch. I run back to my bike and speed out of his area. Guess I won't be going back there anymore.
I head over to the pool place. I forgot to bring a bathing suit, but it looks like it's the other kind of pool. I walk in and reserve a pool table. To be honest, I suck at pool, and that's why I like it. It takes me an hour to sink all the balls in. I walk out feeling impressed that it took me an hour less than my normal time to sink them all.
I realized how long I've been out and decided to head home, staying clear of Mr.Maxwell. It starts to rain, but it stops quickly. I head down the empty roads. Wonder where everybody is...
I pull into 141 Cooper Rd.
