Beneath the Sky

Chapter 3/Things Get Glitchey

Almost dead, but should I heal? I sit and play longer, even though I played for 3 hours straight. I can't stop and wonder why mom isn't home yet. Traffic isn't that bad even if we live in the city. I pause my game so I don't die. I go downstairs to look for mom. Her car isn't parked in the garage and isn't on the driveway. I call her phone, but it immediately goes to voicemail. I leave her a message and go back to gaming. What shocked me was that Charlie hasn't made a sound. I wonder what happened to Charlie and go looking for him. What I find is rather horrific. I find not Charlie, but his diaper, filled with poop and floating right in front of my eyes. I rub my eyes to see if it was real. Nope, it's real. I fall back attempting to faint, but I don't. Then I start to move backwards and I see myself but glitchier. I don't hit the floor. I just lie in the air.  Then I black out.
I woke up in my bed with mom and Charlie by my side. Mom says something, but her mouth doesn't line up with her words. Confused, I look at Charlie. His face is all distorted  and is like it's made up of pixels. I look down at my hand. Part of it is to the right of my wrist and the top half is to the left of the bottom half. I faint again.
I wake up, but I'm at my computer. I deducted that what just happened was a dream. I check the clock thinking that it's like 7:00, but it's 3:00. And I still have my bag on me, even though I had put it on the floor when I came into my room. I rush downstairs hoping that Charlie is ok, but the same thing happened. Only his diaper floated, and once again I fell. Only this time, I didn't mean to. My body just fell even though I didn't want to. I was so confused. I woke up in my bed to see the same thing, but instead of fainting, I ran out of the house. Outside I realized what was going on. The sky was glitching out like crazy. The president soon was on tv and was saying that the world has seemed to be "hacked" by extra terrestrials. The tv then showed a picture from a space satellite to see if the problem could be seen above Earth. The picture only showed a nice, peaceful, problem-free plant. The president then stated that this problem was beneath the sky. He said that every living thing was to be shipped to another planet by shuttles leaving from every space station on Earth. He didn't even need to say that last part. No one needs to leave. I know how to save this planet. It was quite simple if you understood computers.
