Thanksgiving dinner....lets hope it goes well

I was getting changed into nice clothes for going to Thanksgiving dinner with Wally at his place. Before I put on my shirt, I looked at my scar that was in the shape of a heart. I lightly touched it. It's been a few weeks sense I had the transplant. I still cant get over with what happened.... once i looked at my face...i saw tears come down from every thing that happened. I mean, no one knew. Not Wally, not Dick, the team. Only the least Batman. I dont know if the leauge knew about it. I was about to just fully cry untill I heard a knock on my door and I yelled, "Just a minute!" I got on my shirt and looked in the mirror. I was wearing a pair of jeans, a grey under armer shirt, and boots. I wiped away the tears and went to the door and opened to see Wally. He looked up and down checking mee out. "You like?" I said and spun around. He got in my face and pecked my lips. "Yes. Im glad ur not dressing up. I mean we're just going to my place...even thoe you havent met my parents." He said sitting on my bed. I went over by him and sat down next to him. "Wally, are you afraid for me to meet your parents?" I asked. He gave me a small nod. I grabbed his hand and intertwined our fingers. "Wally...it's going to be ok." I informed him. He smiled a little and gave me a kiss on my head. "Why wouldn't they like you? You're the best girlfriend a guy could have." He said and smiled. I smiled back. "Come on. We better go if we want to get there on time." We got up and went out the door and we took the Zeta tubes. We got there and Wally opened the door for me. I walked in to see Berry, Iris and other people. Must be friends and family of Wally. "Hey everyone!!" Wally said as he shut the door. I started to get a little nervous, so I grabbed Wally's hand and went behind him a little. He squeezed my hand just a little to assure me that it will be ok. "Hey son. This must be the lovely Delilah we've heard so much about." His dad and mom came up to us and I shook their hands. Nice to meet you Mr. and Mrs. West." I told them. "Oh no darling. Please call me Marry." (please correct me if i'm wrong...I can not remember!!) Once his parents walk away, I turn to Wally and give him a hug. He returns the hug and then whispers something to me. "I want to give you something...we have to go up to my room thoe." I nod and we go up without anyone wondering why or what we were doing. We got to Wally's room and we both went in. Once I saw his room......it was like mine but 2 times worse.....it was clean but had clothes all over it. "Do you NOT clean up your room!!" I said walking in. "Oh these are all clean. I just had to figure out what the heck I was gonna wear." I gave him my: "Are you serous?" look. "Sit down and close your eyes. No peeking!" He said and I listened and sat down. I closed my eyes and just did nothing. I felt him sit down next to me and lean in my ear. "You can open your eyes now gorgeous." He said in a husky voice that sent shivers all over me. I could tell he smirked once that happened. I opened my eyes and looked at him. "Here, I wanted to give you this..." He gave me a box and I opened it. Inside was another box but smaller and I opened that to see the most beautiful necklace and a note. It said:
Delilah,
This was my grandmothers necklace...and I wanted you to have it. You are the smartest, kindest, cutest, and the most beautiful girl ever! I love you vary, vary much Delilah. I always will love you no matter what!

I laughed and felt tears sting my eyes. Before I read the note, Wally went out of the room. I think he was emmbaraced for me to read it. I went to the mirror and put it on. It was a blue necklace that was in the shape of a heart and it was a locket. Inside was a picture of us on our first date at the park. I knew I was officialy going to cry. I started to shed some tears from the gift. "You love it?" I heard Wally say and I saw him leaning on the door frame. I nodded and turned around wiping the tears away. "Yah...I do." I said to him and we hugged. I hugged him tight and he hugged me tight. I have no idea how long we stayed like that but we ended up laying together in his bed just cuddled up in each others arms. Wally was rubbing my arm and on his phone with the other and we were both watching a movie on his phone. We were watching an anime, Fairy Tale. We were laughing in a lot of parts and stuff and we also just talked some. "Wally, Delilah, time to come down!" Marry yelled up at us. I pecked Wally's lips and got up and went down and he picked me up and put me across his shoulder so he was carrying me like a sack of poatatos. He went downstairs and I was hitting his back and telling him to put me down!! Once I just gave up and we got down stairs and he was still holding me. Everyone started to laugh besides Iris and Mary. "Wally! Put the poor girl down!!" Iris said to him I knew she was smiling but not laughing. I smiled and he groaned (bad speller) "Not gonna happen. She's just fine! She just being a baby!" I had my mouth opened shocked at what he just said. "Wallance Rudolf West!!! You put me down this instant!!" I said to him and I used his full name!!! He has just GATTA let me down now!!! "Or what?" I could tell he was smirking. I was shocked.....AGAIN CAUSE OF WHAT HE JUST SAID!!!!! I smirked and knew that he would not like this. "Alright fine. Then no movie this weekend at my place and I can just spend it with Robin instead. We have something vary fin in mind!" Everyone "oooo"ed and stuff and I smirked. He started walking to the couch and I mouthed to everyone. "Help me" They all just smiled and didn't do anything. Iris and Marry went back to cooking, Wally's dad and Berry went back to talking along with other adults and adults in the kitchen and then there was Me, Wally and Dick was here also. He just got here cause Bruce had to do something....can't remember what thoe. Wally stopped and I looked at him...or sorta looked at him. He just plopped me on the couch and then smirked. I literly bounced and he gave me a kiss and said, "There. I put you down. Happy?" I nodded and heard Dick laugh. "What are you laughing about?" I ask and he just gives me a kiss on my head. "What you said to him if he didn't put you down." Wally smirked once Dick did that. I dont care if he kisses me or whatever cause he is my best friend. Not to menchion, Wally and Dick are both friends. Like I said....its like im with both of them!! "Everyone!! Dinner is served!!" We heard Wally's mom say and Wally got off and helped me up. We all went to the table to eat and Wally pulled the chair out for me. I sad in it and he sat in the one next to me and Dick on the other side. I was in the middle of them. We prayed and then we started to eat. I saw wally eat like heck and I just stared at him. "Really Wally?" He looked at me. "What?" I shook my head and started eating. "Your gonna choke you know." I said then just glopped all the food down like Wally was doing. "So im not able to do that.....but you can?! How is that fare??!!" He said and I laughed after I swallowed. "That's because im awesome!!!" I started to eat again. Once we were done, I got a call form my aunt saying that they were out of town for something vary important. It was a mission so that's why Berry had to leave early. It was just the Justice League....so Wally, Dick and I all staid. "I can't stay home by myself....my aunt and uncle wont let me..." I said to Wally. Us 3 were in the kitchen whisper talking. "I bet we can stay at my place tonight." Dick said. "Would Bruce be ok with that?" I asked him. "Yah. I bet he wont mind...what about you Wally?" We look at Wally and he turns and ask his mom. She said that was fine!!!! We get clothes and our uniforms for the cave tomarrow, we call Alfed and he comes to pick us up and off we go to Dicks place.
