"You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view - until you climb into his skin and walk around in it." I walked around the classroom observing the students reading the book, "Now what are the aggrieved things that the author meant when she wrote all that?" I could hear my students thoughts pondering over the question, chuckling I decided to make it easy "That will be the first question I ask you tomorrow class dismissed."
I was walking down the hall with Jean one of my favorite students as she is a telepath and telekinetic like myself. We came into the corridor to bump into two people knocking all of Jean's books out of her hands, 'Watch where your going.' Jean could be a little short tempered at times. 'Scott I am sorry about Jean, she's having a bad day.' I sighed and looked at the young teenager he was actually pretty attractive with brown hair, tan skin and a blindfold over his eyes. "I can't" I couldn't help but laugh the poor boy was so confused, I rested my hand on Jean's shoulder and looked at the pair standing before us "who are you talking to?" Looking over at the voice that spoke I almost didn't recognize him at first but it dawned on me the deep melodic voice, the mesmerizing blue eyes. It was Alex I hadn't seen him since we got out of the army, we had gone our separate ways but things had been left on a very good note (if you know what I mean ;D )
To say I was shocked was an understatement, 'Alex summers it's been awhile by now I thought you might have remembered me' when he looked at me a wide grin split across his face as he gave me a big hug. Alex looked at Scott who was still next to him, "Lauren this is my little brother Scott." He turned his head towards Alex and I "I heard you and that girl in my head" I lightly touched his shoulder and giggled "That's one of our powers Scott were telepaths, why don't we go find the professor."
