For an entire week they teach me everything about the war that's been happening for a millennium. After this I am called into the round room. The room where angels get their missions.
" Aluna, your mission is to protect Gracelyn Weathers, a future protector like yourself. However it's been two years since you've been on Earth. The time passes differently here." Marine briefs me.
Protectors help future angels, and right now there is only one protector alive, me. A small book appears in my hand. This will help me with my charge.
" you will be enrolled in St. Agustín's Academy. Act like a normal student, become friends with Gracelyn, and protect her." Marine says as she gestures to a tunnel of light. The tunnel will bring me to the edges of the Academy.
" Aluna wait!" Nala yells to me. " Don't forget to hide your wings." She hugs me and lightly pushes me towards the tunnel.
As I step into the tunnel. White light surrounds me. I careful gold my wings and watch as they fade into invisibility. I am definitely going to miss flying.
The white slowly fades out and is replaced by a bright green lawn, that's perfectly taken care of. In front of me stands St. Agustín's, it is stone and looks very similar to a castle. There are multiple other buildings, and a few green houses littered around the huge lawn.
There is what looks like an apartment building towards the south, that must be the dorms. And so I head that way. This will be my new home.
