(Author's note sorry for the long wait I had some family members to do and they took a little bit longer than I want to but as always I hope you enjoy the story.)
Dipper's pov:
Odd thing about labor is that is unlike the movies. That show you the water breaks and everyone rushes to the hospital and the baby is born soon after. In reality it takes 8 hours or more and Pacifica told me that the pain is not as bad as she thought it would be at the start. However Dr. Mike said "In two hours Pacifica will need you in the room, trust me" he winked as he left. Wendy said "what did he say?" He said that I'll be allowed in the room in one to two hours. "But it's already been an hour and a half" Wendy yelled out.
Pacifica's pov:
The pain wasn't bad but they already got me into the special hospital bed. Dr.Mike said "You'll be allowed one person with you when you reach the transitional pain. Also I will have any and all the pain killers you need within reason of course. He then left to see another patient. The room was big and there were three nurses in the room setting up tools and equipment and needles. I asked what's all that equipment for? The nurse said "That equipment is for a C-section if you can't have the baby on your own. I wouldn't worry Miss I'm sure you will be able to have the baby on your own."
She then continued to work and I started to worry about if I could have the baby on my own. I looked at my belly and rubbed it, took a deep breath and relaxed myself and said "I can do this."
Dipper's pov:
Wendy noticed that my hands were shaking and I was uneasy as an hour had passed. Wendy said "Don't worry about it, the doctor will let you know if she needs you." Just then the door opened - Dr.Mike came out and said "Dipper would you please come with me? " Preston then said "What about me I'm her father?" Dr.Mike said "only Dipper at this time" me and Dr.Mike went into the room. Pacifica was in pain, she held out her hand, I grabbed it she squeezed it and said "It hurts pretty bad but I'll be okay." The Doctor said "If it gets worse let me know and I'll be able to give you some more morphine. However there's a limited amount that I can give you so choose when you want it carefully." I asked how long will it take for the baby to come out? Dr.Mike said "about another 4 and a half to 5 hours."
Wendy's pov:
I heard Pacifica screaming out in pain, she began screaming two hours after Dipper was let in. The screaming seems to be getting louder every half hour. Her father has a really worried face as he paces the hallway. Her mother seems to be fine then she walked up to me and said. "Don't worry dear my daughter will be fine she is in pain but it's pain that will bring her joy in another two hours."
Pacifica's pov:
The pain was like I was being torn in two or like my stomach was killing me!! I don't think I would be able to do this without Dipper by my side. The nurse said "You're almost there? The Doctor said "I can see the head." I squeezed Dipper's hand as tight as I could as the nurse said "ok and push and push keep pushing." I screamed ad I pushed after I don't know how long I heard my baby scream and cry. As they cleaned him and wrapped him. Dr.Mike said "it's a healthy baby boy he's 8 and a half pounds congratulations." He then handed me my baby and he calmed down Dr.Mike asked me "and what would you like to name?" I smiled a proud smile and said his name is Tyrone Northwest Pines.
