Callie's POV:
Being sent to juvie had one perk; no going to school with obnoxious teenagers that only care about sex and drugs. Then again, I couldn't exactly hate teenagers because I completed like .3971948899283% of the teenage population. A chill went up my spine when I stepped foot into Anchor Beach for the first time in 6 months. As soon as the door shut behind me 60 heads turned my way and then turned back to gossip to all their "friends" . It felt like I had a huge sign on my head that read Girl Just Out Of Juvie with huge flashing lights. Before I could even get my semester schedule, I walked down the 7th grade hallway looking everywhere for my baby brother, Jude. Why the hell are 7th graders staring at me?
After searching all the hallways, cafeteria, and gym I still didn't find Jude anywhere which made me worry a little until I remember where he lived and who he lived with. Just when I was about to head to the front office I saw Connor's tall figure standing in front of the bathrooms.
"Hey Connor," I smiled politely, walking up to him.
"Callie! Hi!" He smiled.
"Have you seen Jude? It's my first day back and I can't find him anywhere!" I laughed while still looking around.
"He's not here today, something about how he had to visit Grandma Sharon? I'm not sure. He should be back tomorrow though." Who is Grandma Sharon?
"Oh, okay. Thanks." I smiled and waved trying to mask the concern I felt for my brother's safety. Was he okay? Was he happy? Was he hurt? Who is he living with? When I finally made my way to the front office I tapped lightly on the glass window.
"Can I help you?" The school's receptionist asked snottily.
"I'm looking for Ms. Adams' office?"
"Right behind me, first door on the right." She rolled her eyes and pointed with her pen. I mumbled a sarcastic 'thank you' under my breath before walking back. I normally knew where all the rooms were but Ms. Adams is new with a new office. That's what my social worker told me anyway.
I tapped lightly on the door that read 'Lena Adams, Vice Principal', it was only a few seconds before a gorgeous women appeared with a huge smile on her face.
"You must be Callie?" Mrs. Adams asked.
"Uh, yeah. That's me." I laughed nervously, averting my eyes anywhere but hers.
"Okay, as I understand, you're a returning student?" I shook my head. "Okay so it won't be necessary for me to get you a tour guide?" I laughed and shook my head no and she smiled warmly at me before she handing me my schedule.
"Alrighty, welcome back Callie. I'm Ms. Adams, but truthfully everyone calls me Lena around here." She laughed lightly while opening the door for me. "Have a nice day." She smiled and closed the door. I sighed and looked at my schedule.

7th- MusicI smiled happily when I realized I had Music twice. But groaned when I seen Geometry during lunch hour. I kept walking while looking at the schedule until I ran into something- or should I say someONE making me drop my schedule and books. When I looked at who I ran into he was already staring at me with such intensity that I had to look away.
"Who are you?" The hazel-eyed boy asked.
"Callie. And you are?" I asked with a sigh, aggravated I just dropped all my stuff on the floor.
"Brandon Foster. I just transferred not too long ago. I've never seen you before?" He asked with furrowed eyebrows (which made him look adorable) did I just think that?
"Uh, yeah, I actually used to go here then went away for awhile but now I'm back." I explained with a nervous laugh knowing we were entering touchy territory.
"Oh, cool," he smiled. I had to hide the surprised look on my face when he didn't ask anymore questions. "Can I see your schedule?" He asked pointing the the paper still laying on the ground. I nodded and he bent down to pick it up.
"We have Geometry, music, World History, and Chemistry together." He said with his eyebrows obviously just as surprised as I was to have so many classes together.
"Wow. I didn't know it was possible to have that many classes with someone." I joked before bending down to pick up the rest of my stuff. He bent down to help me before I spoke up.
"Don't worry about it, you're going to be late to second period." I said while taking my papers out of his hands.
"It's okay, I don't mind it." He smiled. And I couldn't help but let a huge smile cover my face.
