"Yes now shut up before you cause a scene!" I say back.

"He asked you out? Nicole are you stupid?' she said hitting my head

"We are partners for a project so he said I call it a 'study date'" I say.

"What subject?" Cassie asks.

"English. " I say.

"Ok" she says and we stay silent.

"So when is this 'study date'?" she asks.

"Uh....the 12th. Well next week." I respond.

"Why would he want to have a 'study date' with you? she asked.

"That came out the wrong way." I say. "And I don't know. "

"I know it did sorry and maybe he likes you.' Cassie said smirking.

"Really? I doubt that he's that badass why would he like me? Plus he's an asshole I hate him. " I say.

"Well we all hate him but still....he may like you." she says.

"Can we like stop talking about Harry please?" I ask.

"Fine....suit yourself. " She says and I roll my eyes.

'Hey Nicole!" I hear

I turn around to see Harry running after me and Alex.

"Oh. I'm gonna leave you two alone!" she says and runs away.

"Uh your driving me home!" I yell after her.

"No I got to go....my fish dyed!" She yells back

"Hey. " Harry says as he comes near me.

"What do you want?" I ask.

"Nothing....need a ride?" he asks.

"Nah I'm going with Alex. " I lie.

"Uh I saw her drive away Nicole. " He says chuckling.

"I'm walking. " I say.

"How about I bring you home?" he asks.

"I'm good but thanks". I say and walk away.

"C'mon. You really want to walk?" he asks.

"Ok fine!" I say and start walking.

"My car is that way. " He says.

I turn around and walk to the car.

The car ride is silent unless I tell Harry where to turn.

"Thanks" I say as I get out of the car.

I told him to drop me off a block away from my house because I don't need him showing up to my house.

"That's your house?" he asks pointing to the house I'm front of me.

"No it's a few houses down. I need to go to the market." I lie pointing to it behind me.

"Oh ok see you tomorrow " he says and drives off.

I start walking to my house and when I enter my mom is in the living room with my older brother, Jake.

"Hey Nicole. " My mom greets me.

"Hey. " I say.

"Yeah. I need you to pick up Amy because we 're gonna go look at colleges. "

"Ok." I say and put my things down. "just don't be late, please. "

"No promises. " Jake smiles. I hit his arm as he passes by me and he rolls his eyes.

I start earlier than my sister, so she gets out about a half hour later than me.

When it's almost time to pick up my sister, I leave my house, but am confused when I see her already walking back home.

"Amy?" I say.

"Oh hey Nicole. " She smiles.

"What are you doing? Schools almost over. "

"Stomach ache." She shrugs and I shake my head, pulling her with me.

"Now what's the real reason you wanted to come home twenty minutes earlier?" I ask once we walk through the door.

"Well.." she mumbles and I narrow my eyes at her. "Ok so there this boy, Tyler and he's one of those guys who's laid back and is part of that like group of guys who causes trouble. I don't know what to do because I have to tutor him in math and I've liked him for so long but I don't think he likes me back. " All the words come tumbling out of her mouth very quickly.

"I think we have the same issue, but I haven't or don't think I like him.

"Care to explain?" Amy asks.

"Alright, so he's also one of those kids, along with sleeping with girls and now we're partners for a project. I felt some kind of spark when we bumped into eachother and when he touched my hand, but it's probably nothing. "

"Well I feel this kind of nervous feeling whenever I'm around him and whenever we even brush arms I feel like butterflies just erupted into my stomach. " Amy tells me.

"I think that if you really like him, just go for it, tell him how you feel and if he doesn't feel the same, it's his loss. " I say.

"Thanks Nicole. " She sighs and smiles.

"No problem. " I smile in return.
