After how many years nakalapag na rin yung eroplano, sobrang tagal pala ng biyahe simula New York to Philippines, yup, you heard me right, I'm in the Philippines right now, Dad wanted me to sort some business matter here, sabi niya pumunta lang daw ako dito at mag tour ng konti and when I'm ready to know about it, just give him a call.
When I'm at the airport waiting for Manong Robert, my driver, to come. I decided to walk for a minute, When I bumped to someone else.
"Hey, watch your way, dude!" I said angrily habang pinupulot ko yung cellphone ko na nahulog, well, nabitawan ko kasi siya.
"Oh, I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there, I'm really sorry." paumanhin naman nung babae.
Nang mag-angat ako ng tingin, biglang kumot yung noo nung babae.
"What?"
"Ruby?! OMG!! Girl, it's Anne your bff, grabe ilang years din nung biglang hindi kana namin ma-contact. Ano na nangyare sayo ha? Nakakainis ka naman eh, ganyan ka-" naputol yung pag sasalita niya when Manong Robert called my name.
"Ma'am Driana tara na po, pasensiya na po kayo kung natagalan ako ha, yung anak ko po kasi nagkasakit sinigurado ko munang bumaba lagnat niya bago po ako umalis ng bahay." while Manong Robert talking to me I did not even gave him a single look because I'm looking at this girl in front of me.
"Who the hell is Ruby?!" I shrugged that thought off maybe kamukha ko lang talaga bff niya.
"It's ok Manong you should've text me that your daughter is sick, sana nagtaxi nalang ako." Sabi ko kay Manong Robert habang hindi parin nakatingin sa kanya. Nakatitig lang din kasi sakin yung babae na parang kinikilatis ako.
"Ah, Manong unahin niyo na pong ipasok yung mga dala ko, susunod nalang po ako." sabi ko ulit.
"Sige po Ma'am."
When I felt that Manong Robert presence were gone I talk to Anne again.
"I need to go, by the way, I'm not Ruby nor your bff, nice to meet Anne." I smiled at her, my real smile, yung labas dimple. Nakita ko sa mga mata niya yung pag kabigla niya, but I shrugged it out, maybe I'm just tired.
