Hello Participants,

The second contest ended pretty well. And we got three entries plus one entry from our contributing author who couldn't resist writing for the theme (though he is not considered as a participant, we are intend to give him his feedback as requested.)

The feedbacks will be in the same order we received the entries.

1. LakshmyChatterjee with 'A moment lost, A lifetime gained'

The entry was really good, and the pace was perfect, along with your vocabulary skills. The MC's mind set and her distraught was well portrayed and her relationship with her occasional companion Lucky was best described. And it was Lucky who saved her life on a rainy day. Thanks for taking your time to enter the contest.

2. AnAspiringSoul with 'The plan that saved'

Four friends trying to save their lands from drought. That's an unique idea. Though there are some places you need to work on with descriptions. And the end seemed to be abrupt. Burning chemicals brought rain in a few hours is a bit overwhelming. A good job nonetheless! Thanks for entering.

3. meindark with 'A tweet'

A girl who failed in exam wanted to take her life but her dad's single tweet saved her. You could add some more emotion of your MC. We couldn't find major fault with the story as it is. Thanks for entering.

4. cchinu with 'The Bridge'

A simple one-shot but held the interest even from the beginning. The girl was actually saved by the pondering rain that delayed her from reaching the bridge that swallowed life of thousands. The MC's irritation on rushing through the traffic, the bewilderment she experienced in a few seconds and broken down when she realised she would have been on her way to heaven if not for the rain, was well described. The flow was flawless.

As the feedbacks are at the end, let's move onto the winner part.

Result

The theme given to the participants in Contest 02 was 'Rain saving someone's life' means The pelting rain had to do something with saving people's lives.

Though the three entries were so wonderful, they didn't seem to meet the requirements of the theme we gave.

1. LakshmyChatterjee - your MC was saved by occasional companion Lucky. Eventhen there was rain in the scene, Lucky could have gotten to her without it.

2. AnAspiringSoul - the artificial rain does saved the village from a long time drought but then it didn't save anyone's life.

3. Meindark - the girl was saved by her Dad's tweet.

Eventhen all the entries touched our heart, the entries didn't use the theme really well. And we're really sorry to announce that there will be NO WINNER for the Contest 02.

Wonderful Participants, your entries are all so good but get you gear working for next time.

Announcement: Next contest will be posted by tomorrow. Stay tuned....

Thank you all...

~ All the love,
