"So Vanessa, what really happened in the cave?" Abigail asked chewing her cereal rather loudly. "I told you I don't know already", Vanessa whispered her voice indicating that she was getting slightly annoyed. "Come on, we both it's a lie." Abigail paused swallowing, "Aren't I your friend?" Vanessa glared at Abigail, it was becoming clear that she was very annoyed. Once Abigail saw her face she looked down at her bowl mumbling a quiet, "Sorry". Deciding to change the topic Abigail smiled a grin looking back up at Vanessa and said, "Hey did you hear that Emily got dumped?" Vanessa smiled liking where this new question was going. The two girls chattered unaware of the unknown guest spying on them from the kitchen window.

"Suspect hasn't showed any signs of being suspicious." A man with hair as black as the night whispered. He ducked down from the window, hands gripping the sill. Retracting slowly up peering an eye at the two girls making sure that they haven't seen him just watching them just a few minutes ago. He turned on the small WT and continued talking to the unidentified person on the other side. The dark haired man talked to the other person again quietly shouting, "Are you really sure it could be her David? I mean she hasn't shown any signs of well... Anything!" David replied sounding like he understood, "I know, I know. I'm just doing what the chief ordered." The man looked back seeing that the two girls had finished eating and seemed to be going up stairs. David continued talking, "Alright I have to go, you should too it's your lunch break." The man sighed, "Okay David I sure will, see you later." "Bye Max", David turned off his WT ending the conversation.

"Hurry Vanessa! We're going to be late for school!", Abigail yelled from the bottom of the stairs tapping her foot impatiently. Today was picture day, and Abigail did not want to be late. Vanessa peered her head out the bathroom door and respond with the same tone of voice, "No we're not, we have 30 minutes you just want to be there first in line!" "No! It's just that he will be there today and I want to make sure he sees me.", Abigail whispered fidgeting with her fingers. Vanessa surprisingly still heard made an unpleasant scowl on her face. "Are you kidding me!? I can't believe you still like him after all the crap he's done to you!", Vanessa shouted her voice showing that she is indeed very angry. Abigail looked at her feet and mumbled something that not even a bat could hear. Vanessa was finally ready and feeling refreshed. With a smile on her face she grabbed the keys to her car and told Abigail to come on.

Abigail had not talked since the little 'incident' and Vanessa was having enough of it. I guess I have to start up a conversation, Vanessa mentally sighed at this. "So tomorrows the football game are you going to go? I'll go with you if you like." Abigail perked her head up at this, and with a toothy grin she replied, "Of course I will silly! I'm the team captain of the cheer-leading squad, and you should know that the cheerleaders always perform!" Vanessa looked at Abigail clearly amused at the sudden change of mood and continued to drive off. A few minutes later they arrived to their oh so beloved high school at exactly 9 AM. Where teenagers smoke in the cafeteria, and get drunk in the gym. But we don't want to forget the things that happened in the empty classrooms and janitors closet that the females will have to explain to their parents in 9 months.

In the library students were already line up (Well if you call a zigzag a line), in front of the cameras. Girls had on loads of makeup, and boys were wearing tight shirts. Thankfully though there were a handful of girls and boys that didn't do what their same gender did. Vanessa and Abigail were one of those few. The two girls got in line and awaited their turn. Abigail was playing on her phone when she spotted a tall dark figure only a few people away from them. "Psh, Vanessa isn't that Jeremy?", Abigail whispered. After giving her a weird look, Vanessa yelled out, "Hey! Jeremy! Come over here!" Jeremy walked over ignoring the glares coming from the students behind him. It was either they didn't appreciate him skipping them, or they were jealous at his rather tall height. His friends (including Vanessa) frequently asked him why he didn't want to join the basketball team. But alas he always said the same answer, "I don't feel like it." That irritated them to no end, but they dropped it not wanting to pressure the poor boy. "So Vanessa?", Jeremy questioned smiling. "Yeah?", Jeremy smiled even wider and quietly said.

"What really happened in that cave?"

"Omg!! I swear-!"

"Don't swear Vanessa."
