After hours past bye the girls left bitterly.
Aiko kept wondering what happened to Emiko and why she didn't react to her leg being bitten.
Amaya and Moyasu were discussing where they wanted to go and finally they decided to go to the palace for the queen's approval Amaya's career.
A few days later...
The walk was only a few days. Aiko was wondering why Moyasu and Amaya are getting a little extra friendly with each other. When they arrived they walked through a small town that sold many umbrellas and rain gear.
"Welcome to the Palace of Rain. It rains eternally and is also home of the docks." A guard greets them as they go to the entrance. It wasn't the main kingdom that Queen Sora was suppose to rule but, they had a they were the most famous for their unique kingdom.
The queen,king, and the two heirs in their thrones except for the concubine he stood on the side with the general and the mage/healer.
Amaya and Moyasu bowed down to the royal family.
"What brings you here my sweet children?" The queen asked a bit too sweetly it made Aiko narrow her eyes at her majesty.
"I'm Amaya Usagi and this is Moyasu."
"Oh isn't this precious. You probably know my real name. Just call me Queen Gray. Also, what's your request?"
"Your highness I request of performing in your kingdom."
"What type of performance?"
"Singing."
"That's exactly what I need."
"Really thanks."
The female heir looks around nervously.
"May I have a word with the visitors." She nearly whispers.
"Sure sweety."Queen Gray says,
"Privately." She corrects herself,"I want to talk to them privately."
"Sure. The rest of us are going to wait at the theatre for her to perform. Make the conversation brief."
"Yes mother." The heir whispers.
She signals them to follower her and they obeyed. She led them to her room and locked her door.
"My name is Koneko."she says softly,"try not to trust my family."
"Why?"Amaya asked concerned,
"My family is getting slowly torn apart no one sees it but I do." She continues on, " The oldest brother who's the only concubine secretly is a serial killer who killed and my mother washes her misery away with her bloodlust she's not a murder but still creeps me out. Father is into guys he's just with mom to be married."
"I don't know what to say..."Amaya confessed," On the thrones all of you guys looked cheerful,"Your father wasn't bad at all."
"I'm OK with his preference but not the fact he stilled married my mom and he does love his children but not mother." Koneko explains,
There was a knock at the door.
"Young mistress the queen is getting impatient."
"I'll be right there."
"We should get going."
"Alright."
They walk down the stairs in silence. They entered the theatre with grins so there's no suspicion.
Amaya walks up to the stage and gets ready to sing.
Moyasu takes a seat in front with the royal family.
Aiko sits at Koneko's feet.
"Since everyone's ready" Amaya says bravely," I guess I'll begin."
