The sound of the elevator turns on as the door open and A short hallway appeared and only one door and yes I got the whole floor to myself, two if you count the second floor where my bedroom, study/office room, the guest room and some other rooms like the laundry room thingy.
"Sapphire sweetie! I'm home! Where are you?" I shouted all over the apartment as I call my dog Sapphire. I was going to call her Nutella but the name doesn't quite fit her.

I hear a barking in my room. Hmm.. Maybe she's trap again on the pillows. I went up to my room as I look for Sapphire.
"Sapphire! Where are you girl?" I heard a barking from the laundry basket.
"You silly goose! Why are you even in there? More like how did you get in there?" I said as I kissed her head and laugh.
"You're so cute." I put her down just as the doorbell rang.
"Now who could that be." I went down the stairs as I saw a package on the counter, I went to it to look what's inside just as the doorbell rang again.
"I'm coming!" Meh, maybe I'll open that package later. I went to the door and opened it revealing my older brother Landon with his daughter Lily. He got married 5 years ago with this pretty lady named Lucy, and then a year later they had a little baby girl and that's Lily but unfortunately Lucy died of cancer 2 years ago. My brother was pretty much drunk every night when she died, but I told him that does Lucy wants you to do this? What about Lily? We both know that Lucy doesn't want you to do this especially if Lily is around. So I took care of Lily for a few months until he got his sh*t together.
"Let me guess Brook, you skipped school today." He said as he put Lily down as she tries to ran-fall to Sapphire and play with her.
"Actually I didn't skipped school. I went there and got on for first period and I got pissed off by the people so I went back home." I said to him as I went to the kitchen to get a cookie.
"Who pissed you off this time? And also what is in this box?" He said as he saw the box beside him.
"Mister Marls and this new kid whatever his name is." I munch into my cookie as I get a cutter from a drawer and went to the box and open the top of it.
"Hmm. Mmk. So what's inside the box?" I look inside the box and found a black music box with a key on top of it that is put in some sort of long necklace to make it look like... Well... a necklace , some journal looking book-it looks old but whatever, a picture of some kids sitting on the floor a boy with a beanie holding a red ukulele looking at the little girl who is sort of looking at the one who took the picture.

"So, who's the box from?" I almost forgot that my brother is here.
"I don't know. There's no return address or something." I said as I get the music box out of the box and opened it with a key.
As the box opened a ballerina popped up and a melody turn on. This must be that music box where you customize the melody or something since there is no turning thingy on it.
"That's a great melody, even Lily and Sapphire likes it." He said as I looked at Sapphire and Lily that I didn't notice who is right beside my trying to look what the inside of the box looks like.
"You guys can have it you know." I said as I closed the box and put it down.
"Nahh, I don't think the one who sent that would be too happy or something, it's maybe a clue for you or something." He said as he picked up Lily.
"I got to go. I need to drop off Lily to Lucy's parents, they want to spend time with her." He said as I keep on searching some stuff through the box.
"Ok! Bye Lily!" I said as I took her from my brother to hug and kiss her on the cheek.
"Aww. No hugs and kisses for me?" He said pouting.
"Don't be such a kid bro, but I'll still give you some." I said as I hug him with one arm since Lily is on my other arm.
"How bout my kiss?" Sighing I also kiss him on the cheek to shut him up.
"Bye Brook! Bye Sapph!" He said as he get to the door and I smile at them saying goodbye.
