It was a cold, rainy night in London. The two of us had travelled for months, looking for a home to start again. We ended up on the path to where a mansion stood ."That mansion....its where...my aunt lives.." I said as I shivered in his arms from the cold rain.
"Mistress, do you wish to investigate further? If so, I'll gladly carry you." He says."Please.." I answered. He swept me off my feet bridal style and walked toward the big mansion. Some of the lights were on so I ordered him to knock.
Grell
As I was walking past the front door, I heard a knock and stopped. Who could that possibly be at this hour? And in this rain? I ask myself as I approached the door. When I opened it, there was a blond man holding a girl with bandages over her left eye."May we enter?" Asks the man.
"Grell, who's at the door-" asked Madam Red. She stopped mid sentence and stared at the girl in the man's arms."C-Ciera....I can't be.." She gasped, approaching the door. The man put her down and she took one weak step toward Madam Red."Aunty...its me." She smiled weakly as well. She nearly fell but Madam caught her and held her in a long, passionate embrace.
"Ciera..I've missed you so much..."
"I've missed you too, aunty....please, in the morning...can we go....to the Phantomhive Manor....?"
"You want to see your brother?"
Then the girl gasped."My brother's....alive!?"
"Yes, he is. He came back just a few months after the fire....with a new butler."
Madam red looked up to the blond man still standing at the door."As did you. Please, won't you come in?"
"Come on, you need to get out of those soaked clothes, too." Ceira says. Madam Red carried her neice up to her room, not before ordering me to help the blond one settle in."Wait here, I'll get you a towel." I said before turning around and "accidentally" slipping on the water that dropped from his soaking clothes."Are you alright?" He asked."I'm fine."
The Next Morning
Ciel
I was woken up by the light shining through my window when Sebastian opened the curtains."Time to wake up, my Lord." He said. I sat up and rubbed my eyes."Your schedule for today is completely empty. Although, you have to get ready now. Last night, Madam Red called and said she was coming early because she has a special surprise for you." He explained as he kneeled down in front of me, undressing me.
"What kind of surprise?" I asked."Well, if I went around, spoiling surprises for my Young Master,-"
"What kind of butler would you be? Yes, I've heard it before. Sorry I asked." I cut him off with a smirk."No apology needed, my young Lord."
He finally finished dressing me and I went to my study. I summoned the three idiots, Mey-Rin, Baldroy and Finnian. They stood in front of my beak, looking worried for some reason."I need the three of you and Sebastian to clean this house. I want it spotless before Madam Red arrives." I ordered."Yes, sir!" They all saluted and zoomed out of the room.
Weirdos... I thought.
Only an hour passed before a knock was heard at the door. Sebastian escorted her to my study as Grell stood at the door with Sebastian."Hello, dear nephew!" She greeted me."Good morning, Madam Red." I replied, rising to my feet to hug her."So, are you ready for your surprise?" She asked."Yes, your surprise is most certainly one to bring happiness." Said another voice.
"Lao, what are you doing here?!" I asked."Oh, I brought him along. I thought it'd be nice since he's also close to us." Madam Red replied."Well, I can't wait to see what this surprise is." Lao said as his girlfriend (or whatever) stood beside him silently.
"Alright, Ciel. Close your eyes." Madam Red instructed. So I closed my eyes and waited.
"Okay, open your eyes." She said and I did.
In front of my desk was a girl with hair like mine, with eyes like mine and skin like mine. My eyes grew wide as I processed everything and who she was."Ciera?"
"Ciel...I've missed you so much." She said, smiling at me. I approached her and put a hand on her face to confirm her reality. She was wearing a dress (the one in the picture) with black silk over her right eye. I wrapped my arms around her and sobbed on her shoulder. I feel likes its been too long since I've shed a tear.
"Ciel..dont cry dear brother."
"Ciera, I'm sorry...where have you been this whole time?"
"I've been lost...I've been everywhere and nowhere...every since we lost each other running away from the burning mansion...I think I had no sense of direction. I've just been wandering...to think I survived for this long.." She said, wrapping her arms around my back. She put her head on my shoulder and I felt her shaking.
"I've missed you too, Ciel..." She sobbed.
The two of us just stood in the middle of the room, hugging each other and crying with everyone watching. We didnt care how loud we were crying.
"There's no need to cry, you two. Its alright, everything's going to be okay from now on." Madam Red hugged the two of us. I could hear in her voice she wanted to cry too."I've finally got both of you back...and I'm never letting go." She sobbed. The three of us just stood in the middle of the room crying.
Third Person
Ciel, his twin sister and his aunt all cried. Finny, Baldroy and Mey-Rin cried while looking into the room from the door. Even Grell cried. This sweet reunion had brought nearly everyone to tears. The only ones not crying were Sebastian and the blond butler. The two of them were actually studying each other but they didnt make it obvious.
When the family stopped crying they, thanked Madam Red for bringing them back together. When Red left, taking Lao with her, Ciel and his twin spent time together. They went out to the garden for tea and Ciera told all about her wanderings and where she's been.
"For your tea today, is a new blend of herbs I picked up during our trip to Paris. Its a kind of Black Tea. Vanilla Caramel Truffle." Sebastian said, placing tea down in front of us."Its delicious, Sebastian." Ciera smiled."Ciera, it would relax my curiosity if you introduced me to you friend behind you." I said, taking a sip of my tea.
"This is my butler, Esteban Phoust."
"Excuse me if this next question is too personal. But, you're a demon, aren't you?" I ask, making him freeze. I mentally smirk at him as I take another sip of tea."How did you know?" My sisters asks."Because my own butler is a demon." I reply.
She looks up and Sebastian and he smiled at her."For a demon, he's rather good looking." She mumbled."Why, thank you, Young Mistress." Sebastian bows."Sebastian," I called."You may be under a contract with me, but you will also do as Ciera tells you. Is that understood?" I ordered. He got down on one knee with his hand I've her chest.
"Yes, my Lord."
"Same for you, Esteban." Ciera says to her butler.
"Yes, my Young Mistress."
