Chapter 8 - Unfortunate situation

An update as promised 😉

"Oh my god" squealed Sanyukta"I can't believe it"

Randhir pinched her and said "Come on. Believe it now"

They both were standing in front of the Eiffel tower. The sight was breath taking.

They were back from cruise in the morning. They had rested all afternoon and then had decided to go to see the thing Paris was most famous for

"Isn't it beautiful?" Asked Randhir

"Absolute pleasure to be watching this" she replied

"The surprise doesn't end here. Come with me" randhir pulled her

He took her to a restaurant and made her sit on the table he had booked. From their table, the view of the tower was even more clear. It looked divine. Sanyukta enjoyed watching it

Just then "hey.. this is our table" said a guy

"I'm sorry we had booked it" said Randhir

When two of the men argued about how has booked the table, a woman came with the manager to resolve the fight.

"Sir, Any problem ?" Asked the manager and when he got to know the complete situation

"I'm so sorry sir. It was my fault. I actually gave the same table to two people. But all tables are occupied" the manager apologised.

"Then what do we do now?" Asked the woman who bought the manager

"We can share if you wish" suggested sanyukta

"Oh we don't want to interrupt your date" said the woman

"No, no we are not on a date. Casual dinner" Randhir said

"Oh. Are you sure you don't mind?" Asked the guy

"Definitely bro" randhir came and sat beside sanyukta

All them ordered food

"I'm Clara." Woman introduced herself while the guy piped in" My girlfriend" while Clara sounded uncomfortable

"I'm Christopher" said the guy

"I'm Ayush and She's aditi" Smiled Randhir

"Are you sure you aren't a couple ? You definitely look like one" laughed Clara

"Yea baby. They are a couple to me...like us" said Christopher bending to kiss Clara's neck while she pushed him away and gave him an annoyed look

Their talks continued,so did Christopher's attempts to get close to Clara. After half past eight, Clara and Christopher excused themselves to go to the bar while Sanyukta and randhir resumed their eating.

About quarter to ten, they left the restaurant. Sanyukta had urged to see the tower once again before leaving. So, both walked in way of tower hand in hand.

As they reached there, they saw lot of commotion and chaos. People were surrounded in a circle. Randhir and sanyukta too joined the crowd to see what was happening.

It was Clara and Christopher. Christopher had a knife in his hand which he had pointed towards Clara. Clara had panic written all over her face and her eyes were full of tears. Randhir enquired what the situation was when he learnt that Clara wanted to break -up with Christopher and when she told him that, he became angry and now is threatening to kill himself

"Don't be daft Christopher" Randhir shouted from crowd

"Ayush... don't intervene. " Christopher warned

"What good will it do Chris... You'll find someone better" said Clara crying

"Yes, Whatever the matter is ,talk and resolve" said sanyukta standing beside Clara as her support

"No, desicion is taken. " Christopher shouted

One of the members in the crowd silently called the police.

"Chris... you deserve much better than me. Don't do this please" pleaded Clara

Christopher 's face lit up in anger. Fury rose in his eyes.

"You're right. I deserve much better than you.. but you deserve no one but me. Now you can become no one's" saying it he stabbed Clara onto the chest roughly

Sanyukta became numb. she couldn't move. He was too quick for her.

Blood oozed out from Clara's chest. His stab had been directly to the heart. Her chances of survival was very less.

{ Yes, Clara and Christopher are important for the story here as the events which took place in this update are going to affect SanDhir's lives in many ways. You'll know that in next update }
