I felt the ground under me as I was born into the world. I waited to get fed but mom just started leading everyone away but no one picked me up, I was alone and hungry. I heard foot steps but I could not smell anyone,but someone picked me up and rubbed my neck. I felt his teeth sink into my neck and then he took me to his house. He set my on his bed and took his shirt of wrapping it around me. “Hey what's your name"? Said the man. “Marvella" “Did you know your name means miracle"? He said. “My name is Duke". Said Duke.
(Duke's POV)
I saw a wolf pup alone in the woods so I picked her up and bit her so she smelled like me. I did this to mask her scent from other vampires that would hurt her. I took her home and set her on my bed, I took off my shirt and wrapped it around her to keep her warm.
Fifteen years later...
(Marvella's POV)
“Dad where are you"? “Marvella stop yelling you'll wake the others. I rolled onto my back and asked “father when will I know when I find my mate and what if he is human"? “I don't know but I think you are old enough to go search for him". He said. I head out to go find him. I crossed over to the city, I saw a 15 year old boy getting bullied. I ran over to him and growled at the bullies. They got scared and then hissed showing their fangs. The boy that was bullied ran off leaving me to take them alone, they hissed and attacked me but then everything went dark.
(Austin's POV)
I saw a white wolf with wings coming towards me. She scared the boys so I ran away leaving her to take care of them.
(Marvella's POV)
The vampires continued to attack me until I was too badly wounded to fight any longer. I fell to the ground exhausted, I hissed showing my fangs. They picked me up and shoved me in their car and drove off.
