A New Life

The New Alpha

Today I was becoming the new alpha and afterwards there was no turning back.

"Were going to crown you in human form tomorrow. Then when you receive your crown and you will shift as the fist woman Alpha ." My dad said proudly.

"And your going to be dressed by your Mother." Said I familiar voice. I turned and saw my mom. I ran into her opened arms and hugged her. I don't want to let go. Ever. I felt a tear run down my face. I haven't seen her in five a weeks. I could never stay mad at her.

She started to pat my back and tell me everything is okay. I finally decided to stare her in the eyes. Then I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned and saw Tyler looking deep in to my eyes.

"Mom this is-"

"Tyler, I know."

"You know everything don't you?"

"I knew him all his life."

I smiled at him and I rested my head on his shoulder.

The next day I woke up in my wolf form a little nervous of the event for today so I decided to walk around before the ceremony. I was going to become the leader. I have never been the leader for anything. Not even for a group of friends.

You should not be out here alone. A familiar voice said. I turned around and Tyler was coming.

I just need time to think. Who knew I was the daughter of the Alpha?

Well me but you at the first woman and the most beautiful. I looked at him. I was glad I was in wolf form or I would be blushing. I couldn't really smile without showing my teeth.

The sun was coming up so me and Tyler decided to watch the sunrise. It was almost time.

Later on in the day my mom started to dress me. I was wearing a brown dress with my hair straight. I was ready. The ceremony was about to start. There was nine of us and I was about to lead them to war. I'm not ready to do this but there is no other way. I was properly trained and I knew all about the wolf. I knew everything about everybody including there names. Today they were all instructed to be in there wolf form and I was going to shift later.

"Are you ready?" Dad asked looking at my back.

"Yes." I turned and looked at him and his eyes grew wide.

"You look so beautiful."

"Thanks." I twirled just for the fun of it.

"Its time."  My mother said and I walked up to a huge rock and stood on top of it.

They were all staring at me.

My dad came out in his shifted form and talked. I could still here him in human form.

We have gathered here today to see this young lady become our leader and our first woman Alpha. Does anyone have any exceptions? No one did anything so he continued on.

Ashley Forest do you promise to lead your pack and never turn back?

I promise. I confirmed.

Do you promise to lead us in to good and never into evil?

I promise.

I now pronounce you the Alpha of this pack. All of them howled as my mother put the crown on my head.

You will now shift. I went and took off the crown and shifted. My hands became paws. My ears grew longer. At that time I knew I was Alpha because I was stronger and I felt like I could to defeat anyone.

I heard howling from a far away distance. They had found a new Alpha and he was about to be dead.
