This vacation with Brooklyn went in a different way.I thought we'd catch up but with us blowing up at each other means this week has been weird.I don't feel as comfortable as I should around him.
I woke up first today and passed by the guest room where Brooklyn is sleeping in.He is sleeping in a such pacific way.
It's been two days since our fight and he hasn't tried to approach.I am trying but he doesn't let me in.Why stay then?
I make myself a cup of coffee and open the backyard door so I can go out with Olaf.I pick my phone and call my Mom.I know she will be going to London today.
Dad's birthday is coming up soon.She is stressing out with a lot.
"Hello,gorgeous!" Mom says in a cheerful way.
"Hi,Mom...How are you?" I ask trying not to focus on the matter in my hands.
"I'm fine...How is the honeymoon,babe?" She asks and I breathe high.
''Things are not as I expected...it's almost like we are on a different page" I tell my Mom.
'Ohh,no...What happened?"
"We said things...about Hamilton." I say mentioning Nash.
"Maddison,you know you can't just discard Hamilton off your life..." Mom starts.
"It's what I told him,Mother! I know it's hard to accept the fact that your girlfriend is linked to her ex in a sentimental way...It's hard for me to accept,Mom!" I exclaim sadly.
'Ohh,dear...this was supposed to be a getaway from your troubles.'' She says sweetly.
'Enough about me...how's the Kardashians?'' I ask wanting to know how things went down in LA.
"Ohhh,Maddi...you don't know what happened...' Mom's voice goes sad.
''Shit! What happened?"
"Your Dad got into a fight last night with Kourtney...You know how things are!" Mom exclaims sadly.
'Oh no,Mom! Dad and Kourt need to get this shit together...Please don't feel like it's your fault.'' I say knowing Mom will take this personally.
"Honey,I have to turn off my phone now,ok? Love you! See you in London in tomorrow." Mom hangs up.If she hanged up,it means shit is real.
I drink a bit of my coffee when I'm surprised by someone walking in.I look up and see Brooklyn.I sit down straight as he looks at me.
'Morning...' I try smiling.I look at Olaf playing around in the grass.
'Khloe is doing alright?' He asks as he sits down next to me.
