It seemed that every weekend Leilani Hester was working all twenty four hours a day at the bar trying to make ends meet. Bar tending was a tedious job, but due to her own headstrong attitude and her refusal to be what her parents begged her to be Leilani had little to no options and bar tending was better than taking orders at a McDonald's for minimum wage.

That's why on this Saturday you could see the blonde woman standing behind the bar, mixing up drinks and taking orders from intoxicated and tipsy customers galore. Every once and a while a sleazy drunk would try and get handsy with her but her boss would shut that down quick with the threat of cutting him off and kicking him to the curb.

After setting a random mans drink in front of him, Leilani's head snapped up at the call of her name from an all too familiar set of voices. Her once grim expression turning into a bright smile in seconds as her eyes landed on her two best friends making their way towards her section at the bar. Leaning herself against the bar top she couldn't help but let out a small laugh when she saw Jailynn Lemore struggling not to trip in the crowd of people crowding the dance floor. It was no secret that Leilani's friends were almost always at the bar, but that was because they were like a pack if one was somewhere on the weekend the others were probably not too far behind.

"Jesus, how do you deal with this shit Lei?" The voice of her other best friend Annalise Guerrero cutting through her thoughts. With an unlady like snort the blonde waved her off and stood back up straight behind the bar to grab her friends preferred drink. Once she mixed up both of her friends favorite drinks and sat them in front of the girls she shrugged her shoulders as if the crowd of rowdy men was something any woman should be used to. "Oh you know, Steve keeps them at arms length."

She had been working at this bar for the last three years and within those three years her boss had taken her in like she was his own daughter. She admired the man and his passion for the bar he opened at such a young age, this was what he wanted to do with his life and he reached for his dream and snagged it.

Eyes scanning the crowd Leilani saw a group of men enter the bar that piqued her interest just a bit and when they walked towards the bar and Annalise's eyes landed on them she realized these men must work for the beloved company that her friend's life was revolved around. "Zo, Matt, Claudio, over here!" She waved them over and once each man was sat at the bar Leilani took a second to rake her eyes over them with interest. There was Anna's boyfriend Eric Ardnt also known as Enzo Amore who she had already met a handful of times, but his attention was solely focused on his girlfriend who was now sat in his lap. Next, her gaze fell on the bald headed man sat next to Jailynn, he wasn't her type but from the look in her darkskinned friends eyes showed her that he was definitely hers.

That's when she saw him, the blonde who took her breath away with one look. She'd never met this man before now and God was she glad he came to this bar. His shoulder length blonde hair was pushed behind his ears and his prominent muscles could be seen beneath his tightly fitted black v-neck t-shirt. 'He's fucking gorgeous, and yes I mean gorgeous.' The woman thought to herself as she openly gawked at him. His gaze finally landed on her and based off the cocky grin on his face he'd seen her staring.

"It's rude to stare you know." The gorgeous stranger said to her in a delicious voice. 'Was there anything about this man that wasn't perfect?' She asked herself as her eyes tried to look anywhere but on the supermodel looking man sitting in front of her. "And ignoring the person you were staring at is a close second." Came his voice again as her eyes slowly raked back over him and that's when she bit the inside of her cheek at the look on his face. He was checking her out and he had no shame in his actions at all. When his cobalt orbs locking onto her hazel ones as his eyebrow quirked up and a smirk tugged at the corners of his lips.

"My names Matt, can you tell me yours or are you mute?" Rolling her eyes at his cocky question and that stupid yet sexy smirk, Leilani finished topping off a customers drink before turning back to him. "I'm Leilani, and I'm busy." She mumbled out trying her damnedest not to blush under his intense gaze. "Beautiful name for such a beautiful face." That was when the heat rushed to her face and she knew it from not only the flush she felt, but also from the broadening of his smirk.

"What time do you get off, maybe we can get to uh.. Know each other." She knew that line all too well, he was trying to get into her pants like every other man who entered this bar. Well jokes on him, just because he's hot doesn't mean she's giving into his games. "I get off in five minutes, but I'm sorry I already have a date..." She saw the frustration on his face and she couldn't help but smirk in victory, she could play these games too she wasn't new to this. "With my bed, but it was nice to meet you Matt." In that very moment Steve gave her the nod in which she knew it was time to clock out of this hell hole.

Once she emerged from behind the bar the eyes of her two oblivious friends landed on her and their eyebrows raised in question as to where she was going. "I'm heading off, long day tomorrow. I'll text you girls to let you know I made it back safe if it eases the worry." Seeing that neither of them relaxed Leilani sighed in frustration, that was until Matt took it upon himself to stand up after slapping a couples of bills down onto the bar top. "I'll walk her home, I'm not feeling the bar anyways." That caused both of his companions to roll their eyes and her friends eyebrows to raise.

That's how they both found themselves walking towards her apartment building at one o'clock in the morning. "It was sweet of you to offer to walk me, but I do this every night and I didn't really need an escort." She said in a tone of voice which was hard to decipher, she knew that being cold to him was wrong but his last statement to her at the bar had rubbed her the wrong way. "Can't let a pretty lady risk herself in walking in these bad parts by herself." Rolling her eyes at his obvious attempts to woe her, Leilani silently thanked God when they made it successfully to her apartment complex.

"Well here I am, thanks for walking me back and everything.." That's when the blonde turned to leave, but it was in vain as his hand grasped her wrist and caused her to turn back around and face him. He silently motioned to her cellphone and when she curiously handed it over he put his number in and handed it back to her with a wink. "If you're ever lonely and need someone to call, I'm here. Bye beautiful, I'm sure I'll see you again in the near future." With that he placed a kiss to her knuckles and turned to walk off into the night. "Shit.. Who the hell is he?" She asked herself as she turned towards the complex and made her way into her apartment her thoughts plagued by the blonde man who had somehow wormed his way into her mind.
