When I wake up, I found out that I am not in the bedroom hospital anymore. Curiosity. I take a few steps to my bedroom door but I fell down before I could reach the doorknob.
Ugh. What's happening to me actually? Why I had a sudden headache?
Just then, I only sit on the floor without being able to walk to my bedroom again and hoping for someone to come in and help me out.
Its been five minutes I sat there on the floor and yet there isn't anyone stormed inside my room. An awkward feeling going out my throat when I heard someone in the kitchen.
A thought come to my mind as if remembering its already afternoon and recognize that there should be nobody in this house except for me.
So, who's using my kitchen right now? Mom and my sister should not probably home by now since its still early.
A flash came to my mind. No where it could be him! He's suppose to be at school except for the agreement he made with my parents. It could not be Daniel!! I tried to convince myself about it but when I heard footsteps on the stairs and getting closer to my bedroom, I found out that I was sweating heavily.
What a fate?!!
"Casey??!" His eyes met mine and I just gave him a sheepish smile.
Without waiting for my answer, he put the food tray on the small table beside my bed and began to help me on my feet again.
"Thanks for the help. I've waiting for so long. And also, thanks for that."
I gave him a wry smile while pointing at the food tray. His face dropped when I stated that I was waited for so long and began to apology. While leading me to the side of my bed, I told him it was not his fault at all and he feel relief about that.
"If you have trouble, you could just shout out my name. I'm always around, you know." He stated but I only give him a small sad smile back.
"I mean what I said before, Casey. And if you still can't accept it, I'll wait until you do."
He gave hope to me and just now my heart started to melt little by little because of his deep words. I need to give him a chance.
"I think I get what you mean and I will try and consider you if you won't mind.. "
When my mouth said those words , I couldn't believe myself anymore.
With a gentle and sweet smile, he only replied my answers with only the things that made me want to laugh out loud.
"Now, let's finished your food."
And then I laugh on top of my lungs until I can't catch my breath anymore.
"What?"he said with a weary eyes.
"You are funny." His eyes lighten up a bit and I knew its dancing happily inside it.
"Are you reading my mind?" He seemed confused by my action when I slapped his giant hands softly.
Just then, a small smile crossed his face and I knew what it means.
