When you wish upon a star

Last night I saw a star,

It shot right past me in a blaze of glory,

It was so bright it looked like the sun

Last night I saw a star,

I felt something strange happening,

Like I knew everything would be all right

Last night I saw a star,

I made a wish,

Not just any wish,

Not a pony, money, or clothes,

I wished that someday the world would get better,

I wished that life would become easier,

I wished I found my own happiness,

But most importantly,

I wished that we accept one another despite are differences rather than the color of our skin
