Can You See Me?

CHAPTER 1 

"Good morning beautiful!" Ainion whispered to Arebelle. I love being able to wake up to his deep voice in the morning and feel his warmth cradle me at night, Arebelle thought. She rolled over and smiled slightly at him as her eyes fluttered open as they adjusted to the light. "How are you feeling?" he asked in the most angelic voice.  

"Good morning," She smiled, "I'm doing fine but it is so cold" a chill ran down her back as she shivered. 

" We have a doctor's appointment in about an hour to find what our little peanut is." Ainion chuckled slightly as did she. they stared into to each others eyes feeling the love in the air, Ainion knelt by the bed and laid his head on her little belly. "Good morning to you too, my little unknown alien." they both laughed and Anion hugged around her waist tightly with his head softly placed on her stomach. Ainion helped her stand up and and he opened the bedroom door. "To the kitchen we go! A special breakfast for a special day." He took her by the hand and ran with her to kitchen, like children. 

When they entered the small kitchen to the left she saw a big bouquet of flowers sitting on the counter with a note beside it. To the right she saw two plates neatly set with a fork, a knife, and a spoon. On the stove were grits, sausage, and pancakes. "Wow." was all Arebelle could make out.  

" Do you like it?" Ainion asked. 

" Of course I do! This is so beautiful" 

" As are you my love" He kissed her on the forehead. RING! RING! Ainion' s phone rang. " Hello," He answered it. " This is him." Arebelle tried to hear what the person on the other side of the phone was saying. " Hang on a minute." 

"Is everything okay Ainion?" Arebelle asked. 

" The shop is really busy and Darin didn't show up. my boss wants me to fill in and he said that he'll pay me twice my usual pay if I fill in for him." Ainion explained. 

"Go ahead and fill in ain, I'll call you and let you know if it's a boy or girl." Arebelle said. Her face showed disappointment but her attitude gave the okay. 

"Hey. My wife has a doctor's appointment to figure out the sex of our baby. It's around one o'clock can I have about an hour off then?" Ainion asked the person on the other end of the phone. "Okay,thank you sir I'll be there soon." he hung up the phone and turned toward Arebelle, "I'm sorry Belle, I really am but we can use the extra money, and..." 

"It's fine! I understand. You are going to be able to make it to the appointment right?" She interrupted him. 

"Yes." 

" Then it's okay. I'll just eat this and then get dressed and head out to my appointment and we can meet up there." 

" I love you Arebelle Carmen Sistin!" He pulled her in close and hugged her tightly, then he kissed her forehead,her cheek and then the softest kiss on her lips. "I swear I'll be there!" 

"I love you to my dear. Drive safely!" Ainion kissed her on the lips one last time and walked out the door.
