When I woke up the next morning-more like afternoon- Lana and Rain were still snoring away. I didn’t really feel like waking them up so I just went downstairs. When I reached the kitchen I poured me so orange juice and sat on the counter. Mornings aren’t the same without orange juice. The thought of being in a new relationship kept running around my mind. I’m not sure that I’m one hundred percent ready to be in one. I mean, Harlen was my first love. It will take some time to get over that. Well for me anyways, Harlen seems to be doing just fine.

“Hey bro,” Rain said, drawing me out of my thoughts. “Here’s your phone. It vibrated off the head board and hit me,” she said handing me the phone and rubbing her head.

I clicked a button on my phone making it light up. It said that I had a new text message from Joel so I clicked it open to read it.

Hey Kaenan, seeing as how it’s a rainy day, I figured we could all catch a movie. What doing you think? Your pick.

                Joel

                Hmm, that might be fun.

“Joel asked if we wanted to catch a movie.” I said to Rain.

“Sure,” both she and Lana said, so I clicked reply to tell him yes.

Sounds good, what time should we meet up?

                Kaenan

                Around two-ish sound good?

                Joel

                Yep, see you then.

                Kaenan

“Alright, he said meet up around two-ish.” I told the girls.

I jumped off the counter and headed upstairs with them following me. I decided to wear an Alesana band tee, black semi-skinny jeans and converse. After the girls were ready the clock read one fifty, so I text Joel and told him we were ready.

After I Joel he said we should meet u for lunch since the movie didn’t start until two thirty. We decided on going to Taco Bell for lunch.

“So where are you from?” Lana asked Joel and took a bite of her taco.

                “California,” he responded.
