"Zendaya, We are landing wake up." My dad calls out shaking me slightly.

My eyes come to focus and I feel the plane land on the runway coming to a stop.

"Come on get your stuff." He says reaching over me grabbing a bag from over the seats.

I walk with him off the plane with beats around my neck looking at the city from the small plane windows.

Not much to see from the view,It was just the airport and a couple of skyscrappers that where a amazing sight to see.

I take a deep breath getting off the plane and walking into the airport.

I grab my stuff off the moving belt and keep walking.

Once to the front of the airport it was a different place, people and cars hurring down and across the street.

A taxi stops infront of us after my dad calls for it to stop.

We get in and try to relax on the brown leather seats with cuts and missing chunks in the backseat.

"PineWood apartments" My dad says leaning back.

"OH.. the fancy side." The driver says falling in line with the other cars that are going up the road.

I lean back taking out my phone looking at the screen.

I cut it off as we get to the apartments.

My dad slides out of the taxi paying the man and I follow him out of the taxi.

I walk with him up the street pass the fancy brown with silver trim apartment complex.

We get to ours and we walk up the steps to the top floor.

My dad opens the door and walks in dropping his stuff.

"Welcome home for the next three to four years." He says taking a deep breath at the furnished living room, kitchen.

"Yay.." I say rolling my eyes.

It was a nice place with a fire place, a nice black couch , stainless steel counters in the kitchen and the rooms where decent. With a mini walk in closet and room for a dresser, bed , mirror, and maybe some other things.

I start unpacking when I catch a breath taking look at the street from the apartment window.

I laugh at myself lightly and go back to unpacking.

                                                                         -Later-

I walk out of my room after unpacking and see my dad in the kitchen cooking something that looked like a mix of rice, carrots, and some other heathly things.

I walk to the counter and sit on a bar stool infront of him.

"So.. what now?" I say.

"I'll take you to the dance camp and ill go find work here." He says mixing up the food in the pan.

"Mhm..." I say mumbling.

"Is something wrong?" He says putting down the pan.

"Its just that I left all of my friends in L.A. we are in Chicago.. think about it."

"Yea I know... its a big change but we are going to pull through.. WE ARE THE COLEMANS!!" he says raising the spoon above his head.

"Alright." I say laughing at him quietly.

"Can you get the plates dear?" He says going back to fixing the food.

I get up from the stool and walks over to reach to the top counter getting down two blue and white plates sitting them down next to him.

He pours the mixture of food onto each plate with steam floating from both.

I smile at him as I grab a fork and my plate sitting down back at the bar stool.

He joins me sitting down.

"Look, my little girl has grown up so much." he says looking at me from the side.

I laugh taking a bite of the food.

It was really good to be honest.

"This is really good." I say chewing.

"Good! Because it took me forever to figure out how to turn on the oven."

"Really!?!" I say laughing.

"By the way... this dance camp only like five people are getting in.."

"What do you mean?"

"It means if you don't make it don't feel bad."

"Then we did all of this for nothing if I dont." I say turning slightly.

"Its not for nothing.."

"Alright.. i'll try my hardest." I say getting up. "I just lost my taste for food."

I grab my plate and places my plate into the fridge and walking back to the bathroom.

I take a shower letting the warm water hit my body while thinking about what to do.

After the shower I turn in and go to sleep after losing track of time.
