A new star (Mettaton x OC)

The beginning

*Kayleigh's POV*

BEEP BEEP BEEP

That same annoying pattern rung in my ears as I sat up groggily, only to suddenly grab the alarm clock and hurl it at the nearest wall.

'Damn thing' I thought.

Before I continue there's a few things you should know about me, as you know my name is Kayleigh, I have long black hair that covers a tiny portion of my face and hazel eyes that shine. Pale skin and an undying dream to be a star. The majority of the clothes I wear are black, including my old school uniform that lay crumpled on the floor. Today is my first day at underground high, weird name I know.

You may be questioning: "But isn't underground high just for monsters?" Well yes, yes it is. "then why are you going there?" Well, dearest confused reader I am in fact, a hybrid. Did I forget to mention that? Whoops. Well I'll fill you in then. I am actually part cat, with cat ears and a tail which I usually have to hide. But, ever since the monsters came back and slowly started to get accepted (although there are those who still hate them) I was finally able to remove the hat that covered my true identity, which got me kicked out of my old school.

And so we continue. Gingerly, I stumbled out of bed, attempting to be quiet but failing miserably. I scrambled to get my black jeans on (underground high doesn't have a uniform) before pulling on a Dan and Phil shirt and instinctively reaching for my hat, only to withdraw my hand almost immediately remembering I didn't have to hide anymore. A sigh escaped my lips.

'Everything is going to be fine, everything is going to be fine' I tried to calm myself. Now, have you ever walked down the stairs early in the morning whilst still being 94% asleep. It's hell.

Bang, crash, thump. The normal noises in the daily life of me. As I picked myself up off the ground my eyes briefly scanned the clock. HOLY F*** I'M LATE. But I set an alarm clock!!! I  must of set the wrong time!!! Ugh.

Without hesitation I flung my backpack over my shoulder and flew out the door. If Usain Bolt saw me now he would be jealous of my speed. Finally after about 10 minutes of solid sprinting, I made it to the gates of underground high. BRAVERY filled me and I stepped onto the school grounds confidently.

"Hello darling~ You must be new! I was sent to show you around, follow me dear~"

I stared. A pink, florescent, outgoing, flirtatious robot stood in front of me. But oh well, I'm too exhausted to judge, or even care. It's not like I'm normal anyways...... His ever lasting smirk disappeared from view as he turned on his heel and began to strut off, me following close behind.

Sup guys! Thanks for reading! A few things to be explained first, since Kayleigh is part human, her soul is not grey, but it is upside down. Her souls colour is orange which represents bravery hence why 'bravery' was in capitals. Also, a little history on this story, my friend Kayleigh decided to write a fanfic about me against my will, it's supposed to be a threesome with two other characters from Undertale. So as revenge I am writing this story for her >:3
