*Kayleigh's POV*

Mettaton, Ella and Sans of course all know about my dream. But when Mettaton came up to me during work and asked if I wanted to perform in front of all the people in the restaurant, I of course said yes.

Just kidding.

"I-I can't perform in front of p-people live! What if t-they don't like me!?"

"Come on you have a great singing voice!" Ella coaxed.

Oh yeah. Did I forget to mention Ella worked here as well now? I had to force her into the uniform when she saw it was pretty much a maids outfit.....

But anyway!

"F-fine. BUT ONLY BECAUSE YOU WANT ME TO! I'm blaming you if someone throws a tomato at me!"

I huffed and then walked up to the stage, which was pressed up against a wall at the end of the diner, curtains shadowing it.

I stepped up, BRAVERY fueling me, and listened as the sound of a guitar filled the space, flying from the speakers. Lights pooled down from above and I sung.

I know that I'm running out of time,

And I'm wishing they'd stop tryna turn me off,

Forget butterflies, wasps pounded at my stomach as I grew nervous. The crowd was deadly silent, only making my stomach churn more

'No Kayleigh! Stay BRAVE!'

I sucked in a deep breath, and sung the chorus.

Another two minutes, and my song had finished. The audience sat in silence for another 5, maybe 6 seconds, before they broke out into applause.

I smiled, blushing at the attention, and made my way down stage. Mettaton came running up to me, and hugged me tightly, whilst Ella watched from afar with a knowing smirk.

"That was amazing darling~ We should celebrate~!"

He then walked onto the stage himself, and began to speak
