As the huge iron gates open with its creaking sound, their eyes sparkle with excitement and mischief. The McGuire family have come to spend their summer holidays at their colossal farmhouse in the outskirts of the city after a span of two long years.
As the car slows down, all the children shout in unison, "Hurry, we reached!"
Filled to the brim with excitement and joy, Max bangs open the car door screaming in exhilaration and gallops all along the lawn as Amy chases him. The two siblings were of almost the same age. Max was 11 and Amy 12.
Seeing his two cheerful children having great fun, dad was over-whelmed with joy too.
Dad turns off the car engine and gets out of the driver seat, and moves to the other side to open the door for Hannah, his wife and his five year old daughter, Meg who's sitting on her mum's lap.
Opening the car door, he bents down to kiss Meg on the forehead. Meg kisses her father cheeks in return and tells, "Love you daddy".
"Love u too, Meg ", dad responded. "Now come out and join your brother and sister in their play."
Meg nods and jumps down her mamma's lap and rushes to join her naughty siblings.It was a pretty sight to see all three children rejoicing under the sun.
"Look at the children, Hun...they are so happy to be here", says mum to dad.
Saying this they exchange a short kiss.
Mum and dad was enjoying a romantic moment together when the children interrupts.
"Mum look Max is pulling my hair", Amy complains.
"No mum Amy is lying. She hit me on my back first", Max retorts.
Max and Amy, this two siblings are always engaged in squabbling. It seems they love annoying each other and cannot spend a moment without hassle.
And while all these was going on, their little sister Meg, who was the quietest among the three, was beholding the mischief of her elder siblings and giggling.
Dad warns them, "Max and Amy I don't want any cat fight here! Remember we are here to enjoy some quality time together. I don't want to see you two fighting again." Saying this he starts unloading their luggage from the car to shift them inside the farm house.
Mum asserts ,"Okay children you all play for a while as I go inside to prepare the lunch."
Max and Amy were so much busy jumping and running and chasing that they hardly hear their mum's words.
"Can I come with you to help you, mum?" asks Meg.
"Why not dear?" ,replies mom "but won't you like to play out here in the sun with your brother and sister?"
"I will play with them later mum", saying this she accompanies her mother to the house.Meanwhile dad shifts all the luggage inside the house.
