As Mum gets busy preparing their lunch, and Meg revolves all around her seeming to help her. Meg keeps babbling all along about all plans she has made for the holidays.

Meanwhile the other two children plays outside with their father.

A badminton match is going on between Dad and Amy.And Max stands aside counting the scores and cheering.

Dad has been ahead of Amy in the beginning until Amy starts hitting some good shot and levels their score.

Dad makes an underarm serve and Amy stricks the shuttle hard and it comes on the way of Dad. Dad swings his racket just to strike the shuttle when Mum shrieks, "Lunch is ready.Lunch time guys" and Dad narrowly misses the shot.

"Oh shit!", Dad sighs, "Missed it!"

Amy jumps in joy, "I win...see I win Max...see you betted I would lose, I have proved you wrong..." Amy taunts Max sticking her tongue out at him.

"No Dad lost because of Mum.Mum screamed and thus Dad lost concentration and missed it", Max retorts. And their usual verbal ding-dong begins.
Dad cuts through their squabble, "Hey stop your argument...If I see you fighting once more...you will immediately be taken back home...all holiday fun will be cancelled."

Amy and Max put an end to their squabble at once coz they know infuriating their Dad can really cause enormous trouble. So, giving each other a defiant look they follow their dad into the house.

As they enter the house, they see succulent food being laid out on the dining table. Keeping their rackets and shuttle cock aside, Amy and Max rush towards the table.

"Amy...Max...wash your hands and get fresh first", commands Mum.

"Okay Mum", saying this Amy leaves her chair and gets fresh. Max follows Amy. Then the entire McGuire family have a pleasant meal together.

After the meal Meg goes upstairs to her bedroom to take a light nap. Mum and Dad go out for a stroll. Amy and Max too accompanies Meg upstairs. But their intention was different.

As Meg falls asleep, Amy and Max tiptoe to the storeroom. They push open the old maple wood door to expose a unknown world of interesting objects for the eyes to feast on.
