Two sections, both alike in dignity
In the band hall, where we lay our scene,
From grudge baroque to new mutiny,
Where civil runthroughs make civil bands unclean.
From forth the fatal files of these two foes
A pair of star-crossed lovers (attempt to) make things right,
Whose misadventured piteous overthrows,
Doth with their solos bury their section's strife.
The fearful passage of their death-marcado love,
And the continuance of their section's rage,
Which, but their section member's solos, naught could conclude,
Is now the typed traffic of our page--
(A/N) The which, if you with patient ears attend,
What here shall miss, our toil shall strive to mend.
