Chapter one going to Alaska for the summer
On Saturday April 9 at 2:00 pm my mom walked in to my room to tell me that I was going to Alaska on Wednesday the 13 of April. I stared to jump and down and scream and then I called my friend Autumn and told her that I was going to Alaska for the summer that week went by so fast. Tuesday I had dance class and I got to dance with the boy I wanted to which was nice I could not stop thinking of my trip the next day and how I still had to pack and apply for a job to work at a camp in the kitchen. Which by the way I love to cook and work in a kitchen. So it could be the best job ever. 3:15 am read my phone as I woke up to my mom trying to wake me up. We get to the airport at 6 and and flue out of the Austin airport. We flue for what seems to be forever because I hate to fly but we finally get to LAX airport and we try to catch the next flight out of there which leave in like 30 minutes. But we can't get on that fight so we take the next possible flight out which leave at like 1:30. We get to Alaska at like 4 and go to bible study. I text Katy that I am in town and she is super happy. I have Thursday off and then I work for the weekend with Carrie the top cook at the camp. And her grandson Max he is so nice to me all weekend holding the door and helping me learn how to work the best in this kitchen he shows me how to wash the dishes and set up the dinner table that will hold all the food for the camp. I am home sick and he notice and he asks what is wrong so I tell him and he gives me a huge.
