AN/ I am just going to start and not do much of the AN. I have to say, this photo is hilarious. Also, I DON'T OWN PJO OR HOO SADLY.

3rd person POV

Six different friends sat in a circle. The fireplace glowed with warmth. The black leather couches were placed in a L formation, surrounding the fireplace and six kids. Outside, the cold breeze wove through the different houses and cars. Everyone dined on cups of hot chocolate. They laughed and talked casually.

When Lexi, a girl with brown hair and green eyes, asked what they did over their Winter Break, Annabeth stiffened. No one really seemed to notice, but Annabeth had to quickly think of a lie, so she didn't give away her demigod secrets to mortals. That would be truly cruel.

Susan, another girl with onyx black hair and pale blue eyes, spoke up. "I was hanging around with my parents' families. They were so boring, so I mainly just played video games." That earned a laugh from everyone. She sipped her hot chocolate, a small smile plastered on her face.

Ethan, Charles and Jacob looked at each other, grinning like maniacs. Simultaneously, they all said, "Video games." All the girls rolled their eyes, but laughed none the less. Everyone looked expectantly at Lexi and Annabeth. Annabeth gestured for Lexi to go first, mainly just for her to think longer. What would she say?

Lexi stated, "I was mainly just bored out of my mind. I Didn't do video games, because I have none, but I talked with my mom and got to know her better." Everyone smiled at her. They all knew how much she loved her mom. Her mom loved Lexi just as much, too. That made Lexi and her friends happy.

Everyone turned to Annabeth. She smiled half-heartedly. "I got a call from camp. I went there over break, met some friends. Met some, uhm, not-so-much friends. I guess." She cleared her throat awkwardly. Some nodded, looking unsatisfied.

To lessen the tension, Lexi suggested Truth or Dare. She looked pointedly at Ethan, a salt and pepper haired, hazel-eyed boy. Ethan blushed and looked down. Everyone knew how bad a crush Ethan had on Annabeth. Well, besides Annabeth. She was pretty clueless when it came to recognizing crushes.

Lexi looked at Annabeth and said, "Annabeth, truth or dare?" Annabeth had been growing up with the Stolls kind of truth or dare.

As instinct, she replied, "Truth." Lexi grinned. Lexi always knew a good truth. Charles and James, two brothers with orange hair and green eyes, scooted backward. Lexi pouted at Charles, but turned to Annabeth.

"Do you have a crush?" Lexi winked at Ethan. Ethan was secretly thankful, but blushed and turned away.

Annabeth's eyes widened. She started stuttering out responses like, "Uh, no? Maybe? I don't know? Uh, please don't make me answer that, uh, horrible, stupid, annoying question. Please?" She started blushing like crazy, trying to protest.

Everyone stared at her in astonishment, even Ethan. Lexi and Susan simultaneously squealed. They looked at each other and scooted away, playfully. They turned back to Annabeth quickly.

Susan pointed at her accusingly. "You never told us you had a crush! Who is he? Is he hot? does he know you like him? Are yo-" she was caught off by the door opening. Annabeth looked grateful.

Bobby and Matthew ran into the room, screaming, "He's here! Annabeth! Annabeth! Annabeth!" Annabeth got up, looking at them like they were psycho, which they kind of were to some people.

"He's here!" they cried out simultaneously. Annabeth looked really annoyed,  since they were being so random.

"Who is here?" Annabeth looked really mad, but they didn't back off. The rest of the five got up, leaving their hot chocolate on the ground. Annabeth practically got dragged by Bobby and Matthew, her friends following. They turned the corner to see Helen and Frederick talking to someone no one could see.
