Chapter 15 Family & Friendship (pt.2)

Yein POV

When I get home after school I put my book bag down at the door and plopped down on the couch then pulled out my phone.
(One missed call)
I pull up my missed calls list then at the very top was Jungkook. I call him and when he picks up his voice was a bit shaken and angry.

(Conversation)
Hello?
Hey are you okay, you sound pretty mad.
Yeah, I'm fine just my parents are here.
What for?
Something that you won't like.
Just tell it to me straight.
My parents have come here to set me an arranged marriage with Halla.
So that is why she said that you couldn't stop that you were going to be together.
Yo-your not mad?
I have no reason to be, I know you love me and that we are going to figure this out together.
Phew, you have no idea about how many times I imagined you breaking up with me when I told you that.

Wow, that was not the conversation I was expecting. I feel soo bad for him, I think I'll have to plan something for him that will cheer him up. I call some of his friends and tell them that I want them to go to Jimin's. (Just pretend that Yein has met his friends.)

Hey guys can I ask you for a favor?

Jungkooks parents are here, and he is WALKING ALL THE WAY TO JIMIN'S!

I need you all to go to Jimin's, and I need Jin to cook his favorite foods, and for the rest of you to set up the table and Jimin's house MIGHT need to be cleaned.
Jimin_ ...........yeah it's kinda messy.
Jin_ I'll will make my way down to Jimin's now, so should everyone else.
Also I want you all to hide so when we walk in I'll say "we're here!" Then pop out and say "surprise!" But who knows it might go differently.
Suga_ Got it, do we need to decorate?

I get in my car and drive by his place, then start making my way down to Jimin's. At least three minutes down he road I see Jungkook walking. I honk and scare him, I thought it was really funny.

"YAH.... I thought I was gonna die!"

"Hey don't over exaggerate it was funny."

"For you....."

"Get in"

When he comes to get in I drive forward slightly every time, then I lock the door when he pulls on the handle.

"If you want I can just go back to walking!"

"Alright grumpy, get in."

He gets in and I start making wrong turns and driving slowly. And while I'm doing all of this he fell asleep, and that made it easier for me to stall time. I called Jimin and was asking him if the party was ready. He told me that all the food was ready and was set out and that I could go there now.

I started to drive to Jimin's and when I got there I quietly got out of the car and snuck inside of the house I told everyone to find a spot to hide while I stood at the door to make sure I couldn't see anyone. After I found my hiding spot and turned off the lights I texted Jungkook and told him to come inside.

Jungkook POV

*Ding*
I woke up from my nap to my phone going off, it was Yein.

'I couldn't wake you up, come in now!'

'Alright I'm coming!'

I get out of the car and go inside Jimin's. Why are the lights off? When I turned them on I got a big "SURPRISE!!"

"Whoa, what's all of this? Is it someone's birthday?"

"No, we just thought that we could cheer you up with a party!"

"Oh cool, what's that smell"

" that's the food that Jin made for you, it's your favorite!"

"It smells great, when do we eat?"

"Now if you want."

"Dig in!"

We all sat at the table and fixed our plates then ate. Everyone was telling stories about their younger life and fun or weird things that they did. I mainly just listened, I told a few stories. The supper and the talks were great, it really got my mind off of things. After we all ate and helped clean up I went and sat down on the couch with my legs "cris-crossed" (sorry I couldn't remember any other name) and turned on the tv.

Yein POV

I finished up cleaning the dishes, then I headed to the living room where I saw Jungkook sitting. I go to where he was sitting on the couch and lay my head on his lap. "Hello Yeinie~"

"Hello........ How did you like the surprise?"

"It was great, truly great.....
I love you"

"Oh you do?"

"What you don't believe me?"

"Just prove it,"

"How do I need to prove it Yeinie~?"

"I know how...."

I grabbed the sides of his face and pulled mine and his close, and we kissed. Thank goodness that no one walked in on us, I think everyone is asleep anyway. To be honest, we actually kissed for about 4-5 minutes....... Oops. But I actually enjoyed it. When we finally let go I lay my head back in his lap and he just stares at me. "What?"

"Have I ever told you how beautiful you are to me?"

"Probably, why?"

He leans his head close to mine to where his shadow is on my face, "because you are the best thing that could ever happen to me, and I hope you always know that I love you. And no matter who comes in our way, or whatever happens to me or you in the future, just always know that I love you. Even if it doesn't feel like it....... I love you"
