Kia's Dads Point of View
I saw Kia walking out of the house today just like all of the other days she goes to school. I quickly got dressed and drove to "The Dot" as soon as Kia was out of sight. "The Dot" is a coffee shop that's about 5-10 minutes away from here. A few days ago, while dropping Kia of to school, I met a beautiful lady called Christina, the mother of a girl who's in the same grade as Kia, as far as i remember, I guess her daughter's name is Lydia. Anyways, after talking to Christina for a good 5 minutes, we bid our ways and I guess since that day, I got infatuated. It's been around a week or so since I've become a shadow of Christina. Many people would define it as stalking, considering the fact that she doesn't know I'm following her around but I prefer a nicer term such as profiling her.
In the past week, I had profiled her enough to know about her schedule and where she has daily visits and what times. That was the reason I was going to "The Dot" today. My brilliant plan is to 'accidently' bump into Christina, spill her drink offer to take her to my place to let her clean up, and then you know the drill, but if she refuses, I definitely know how to make it work just like I want it too. I know what most of you might think, oh you have a daughter that almost 16 and your wife just died a year ago. Yeah, I know thanks for reminding me, but it's been a year since she died, I loved her and still to this day it's sad to think about it but guess what, a man has his needs. As for my daughter, I'm pretty sure she won't know anything and won't believe anything since she still thinks that I'm depressed, but it all changed since the day I saw Christina.
As I got to the coffee shop, I saw Christina ordering her usual double double cold coffee with 1/4th cup 2% milk and 2 spoons of sugar. It was time for me to enter, as I entered, I bumped into Christina acting as if I was on my phone and as expected it spilled all over her causing her white v-necked ruffle shirt to get see through. She seemed really mad but I quickly decided to apologize. "Oh my goodness, I am so sorry! I didn't see you there at all! I'm seriously so sorry!" I said and then I finally acted as if I just noticed that it was Christina, "Christina?....." i said in a questioning voice. Her frown lifted up a bit as she said "Oh Matt, it's you...and it's all fine, I wasn't looking either." I quickly said "oh no,no I must do something, you can come over to my place and fix yourself up.. That's the least I can offer, please?", I could see her contemplating on the fact of whether she should go or not, and after a little while she said "Fine, I have too get to work as fast as possible too and my house is about an hour drive from here". I had a huge grin as to when she said yes.
Once we entered my house, I showed her to the washroom, the one in my room of course, after apologizing for what semt about 20 times. I quickly ran downstairs locked all of the entrances leading out of the house, grabbed a cold bottle of wine with two cups and jogged my way upstairs. She was still in the washroom as I set some calm music to "make" the mood. I couldn't wait any longer as I barged into the washroom, disrupting her from trying to get the coffee stain off of her shirt. "What are you doing here?" She said as she tried to cover herself up, "Something I've wanted to do for a while" i said as I slowly started advancing forwards towards her "Get out..before I call the police! Just because I'm a single mother doesn't mean you will shut me up!". I quickly got frustrated with her and grabbed her "SHUT UP, no one's here to listen to you". "Leave me alone! Please!" she said, "I told you to shut up didn't I?", I was enraged and sent my hand to her face. She still continued to shout and try to get out of my grip as I threw her onto the bed.
Lydia's Point of View
As usual, as I was talking to Aden I noticed how for a few days he's been acting totally strange. He wasn't listening to me and zoned out as if he were staring at something else. I was talking to him about my attire to the dance in two weeks and he didn't seem to care! I was already mad at the fact that he still didn't ask me to the dance yet but, I know he is, he's probably just thinking of something unique. "Aden?...Aden?" I asked as he still wasn't answering, with a furious look on his face. I turn to look at what he was staring so intently at only to see Kia and Xavier close together and about to kiss. Was Aden...jealous? I mean I've caught him staring at that Kia girl many times now, but now my doubts are clearing up, he does like her.
Just the thought of Aden liking Kia made my stomach churn. I already hated her from the start, from the time Aden bumped into her. I knew he always had something for her, you can just tell just by the looks, but I'm almost 99.9% sure she's gonna be like a week fling for him and come to me. Aden's a total jerk, he's cheated on me several times to point where I just ignore it, but not this time. I'm going to make sure Kia doesn't get Aden. I never liked her, and I know all of her plans, she thinks that she could go acting all cute to him and he would fall for her? Well that's definitely not how it's going to work.
Kia's Point of view
Today school was awesome and very bad at the same time. Let me tell you, so as usual, with my first two classes, spent with Xavier, we hung out today at lunch again but this time, for some reason Anna had to leave for some badminton practice that she had. While we were talking, Xavier and I kept moving closer to each other and as soon as our hands met, we both looked to our hands, and I quickly blushed looking down. I honestly don't even know what was up with me at that time..but oh well, it led to the best. So, once i looked up he rubbed the back of his neck with his other hand and then grabbed my hand. To say I was shocked was an understatement, I was freaking out! I pulled it off normally trying to make it seems as if the hand holding did not affect me and surprisingly it worked. We had a decent conversation and I told Xavier a clever riddle i had come up with. "You have sixty cups, one falls off, how many remain?", "59" he said, wrong, "5". "How is that even possible?" "I said six tea cups not sixty cups" I said smirking. He seemed pretty amazed by my answer and said "Wow you're clever" as he inched towards me, leaning in and then BABAM we had our first kiss! Let me tell you, I was blushing like crazy and then the bell rang so I quickly muttered a "see ya later" and ran to class.
I was still surprised as to how fast all of that happened, but nevertheless pretty happy. I kind of still liked Aden but i guess that died down as I saw Aden holding hands with a girl other than Lydia. When will he learn?
While we were at math class, I suddenly heard a whisper from beside me, "so... I saw you and Xavier share a kiss today.. what was that about?", "Nothing...that concerns you" I said looking up from my work towards him, he had a red face filled with anger. "Well listen, I know you like me so stop acting like a slut, anyways I'm pretty sure anyone's going to get bored of you in 2 days." By the time he said that, I was enraged and sent a loud smack directed to his left cheek, luckily no one heard because everyone was talking. He seemed shocked from the slap and to be honest I was shocked too, but i definitely didn't regret it. He got up and left, but not before saying "If you weren't a girl, I would've hurt you so bad right now". Well I guess today's the end of his teasing. The rest of the day went smooth as I quickly went home, too shy to talk to Xavier but on the way home, I told Anna everything that happened in the whole day. So far she thinks Adens' a "jerk and very low-mannered person" and that Xavier and I would look really cute together. That fact made me smile.
