Chapter 20 ~ You Can't Keep Pretending

~Nicole's POV ~

I walked into the Bakery and I saw Andrew sitting at one of the tables.
I groaned and went to stand by it.

"What is it 'Woody'?" I said teasingly
He jokely frowned at me. It's not my fault that Rick Grimes look like Woody from Toy Story

"Nikki. Sit down. Please. " He begged with his English accent

I rolled my eyes and sat in the sit across from him. "What's the point of this? And even without Norman?" I asked

"This doesn't involve Norman, Nicole. " He said seriously. I gave him a look that sends the message" "Oh really.??"

"Okay, right now this isn't about him. This is about you." He said as he put a friendly hand on top of mines. I sighed in defeat. "Okay what is it? Why did you ask me to come here?" I said

"I know about the comments you been getting since.... "

I know what this was going to be about. I really don't want to talk about it but it was brought up.

"We started dating? Norman and me?" I finished with a question and getting a nod in return.

I groaned and covered my face with my hands. I then dropped it on my lap. "What am I supposed to do? I'm not as important as Norman is to the world! And no Fangirl or boy would care of a single word I say! They just care if they have Norman!" I yelled.

I looked around and saw people looking at me. Almost like I was the crazy one. I sucked my teeth and stood up, leaving the Bakery.

"Nicole!! Wait!!" Andrew shouted grabbing my hand. I didn't bother turning around, cause I know. If I turn around, I'll break down and show that I'm weak.

"Please Nicole! Just t-talk to me. " He said

I turned around and I already felt the tears pouring out of my eyes. " I barley know his fans and they barley know me! And as soon as they found out... They think I'M not good enough for him!! And I can't say anything to him because It shows that I'm weak and he was so happy to say it and I just can't..."

I broke down crying. Crying harder than a few minutes before. Andrew walked up to me and hugged me. I wrapped my arms around his torso and cried into his chest.

"Nikki. You can't keep pretending that's you're okay when you are obviously not. You and Norman are both my friends and I don't want to see any of you hurt. We'll figure something out but please dont bubble of your feelings. " He said putting a hand of my cheek, and passing a tumb through my tears.

"Can you try to say that in a angry way?" I asked chuckling

"What bubbles?? BUBBLES!! " He yelled furiously making me laugh.

"Okay let's go. Norman is probably worried sick about you!" Andrew said as we started walking.

A few minutes of walking. I heard a click. I turned around and saw nothing. I try to see around but still nothing.

"Something wrong?"

"Oh no nothing. I just thought I heard a click "
